LEGO Party! launched on September 30, 2025 for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition followed on July 31, 2026. Preorders have ended; the launch-era retail preorder bonus was a download code for five unique LEGO minifigures, but current bonus availability is not established.
When did LEGO Party! come out?
The LEGO Group announced LEGO Party! on June 6, 2025, with a planned 2025 release window. The game launched on September 30, 2025, for its original platforms. Nintendo UK lists the Nintendo Switch 2 edition’s release date as July 31, 2026.

Official sources now describe the game as out and list it on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The LEGO Group’s announcement and its September 30, 2025 launch announcement document the original release; Nintendo UK’s Switch 2 listing gives that edition’s date.
Can you still preorder LEGO Party!?
No. The game has already launched, so the preorder period is over. At launch, customers who preordered the retail edition were offered a download code for five unique LEGO minifigures, according to the LEGO Group’s launch announcement. That was a historical offer; current availability and redemption terms are not established by the official sources cited here. Do not assume a current copy includes the bonus.

Is there a physical edition?
Yes. A physical retail edition was confirmed for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The official sources cited here do not establish a physical Switch 2 edition. Check the edition and platform carefully when buying, since physical availability is not confirmed for every listed platform. The launch announcement identifies the retail formats, and Fictions Support’s physical-release article confirms the available platforms.

What is LEGO Party!?
LEGO Party! is a one-to-four-player party game. Players compete in themed Challenge Zones and 60 minigames, collect Golden Bricks, and customize minifigures. The official FAQ identifies LEGO Pirates, LEGO Space, and LEGO NINJAGO among the themes, and the publisher describes more than one billion minifigure combinations. These are product descriptions from the publisher, not independently measured figures.
Does LEGO Party! support local multiplayer, online play, and crossplay?
The official FAQ says the game supports solo play, couch multiplayer, online play, and crossplay. Its example says someone playing on PS5 can join a friend on Steam, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox. For online modes on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo UK states that a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required; that requirement is platform-specific.

How do the Switch and Switch 2 editions differ?
Nintendo UK describes the Switch 2 edition as having enhanced resolution and improved frame rates compared with the Nintendo Switch version. The listing does not provide a numerical resolution or frame-rate comparison, so those improvements should be understood as Nintendo’s description rather than a quantified performance benchmark.

The official FAQ lists an E for Everyone rating. Nintendo UK lists PEGI 7 for its Switch 2 edition. These ratings come from different regional rating systems and should not be treated as equivalent classifications.
