LEGO Voyagers is best for two people who want a warm, focused co-op adventure—not a long construction sandbox. Its two-player puzzles, brick-based platforming and atmospheric presentation make a memorable shared experience, but MeriStation’s review estimates only four to five hours and notes limited replay value. One player can invite the other through Friend’s Pass, so you do not both need to buy the game.
What kind of game is LEGO Voyagers?
LEGO Voyagers is a two-player cooperative puzzle-platform adventure. You control LEGO bricks, tumbling, jumping, snapping together and building your way through brick worlds. The story follows two friends trying to rescue an abandoned spaceship. LEGO describes the narrative as poetic and nonverbal, with an atmospheric soundtrack; the focus is on progressing together rather than freely building whatever you like. LEGO Group’s announcement outlines the premise and core play.

That distinction matters if you are choosing it for a LEGO fan: expect a designed, chapter-based journey with platforming and cooperative challenges, not an open-ended building game.
Is LEGO Voyagers worth playing?
MeriStation scored LEGO Voyagers 8/10 in its September 15, 2025 review. It praised the audiovisual presentation, creative design and the way the game makes shared play central to its puzzles. The review describes moments when one player must help make a route possible for the other, giving both people a reason to coordinate rather than simply travel side by side. It also found the brick interactions accessible after an initial adjustment period. MeriStation’s review is one outlet’s assessment, not a guarantee that every pair will have the same experience.

What may frustrate you
The same review flags occasional control imprecision, including vehicle steering that can feel affected by the fixed camera’s direction. It also reports that save feedback is unclear, so players may not always know when progress has been recorded. These are review observations, not independently tested findings.
The larger trade-off is scope: MeriStation characterizes the adventure as linear, estimates four to five hours to complete, and sees little replay value beyond missed achievements or trophies. That may be a good fit for a compact weekend session together, but less appealing if you want a long game to revisit.

Can you play with a friend without buying two copies?
Yes. LEGO Voyagers supports local same-screen co-op and online play. With Friend’s Pass, one player who owns the game can invite a friend to join the full co-op adventure without requiring a second purchase. The official LEGO Voyagers page and FAQ describe the co-op option and pass.
Before deciding, consider how you will play: local co-op suits two people sharing a screen, while the online option is for playing remotely. The Friend’s Pass is the relevant route when only one person in your pair owns the game; check the official platform listing or store for the invitation and installation details for your system.

Which platforms have LEGO Voyagers, and is there a physical edition?
LEGO’s FAQ lists PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The FAQ says the game is digital-only, so there is no physical game copy to seek out. The US PlayStation listing gives September 15, 2025 as the release date.

Who should buy LEGO Voyagers?
- Consider it if you have a willing partner, enjoy cooperative puzzles and platforming, and value a polished, compact shared story.
- Use Friend’s Pass if one person in your pair owns the game and you want to play together online without a second purchase.
- Look elsewhere if you need a long campaign, extensive replayability or an open-ended LEGO building sandbox.
