The newest update listed in the official Lies of P Steam announcements as of October 8, 2026 is version 1.14.0.0, dated September 30, 2026. It fixes an outfit color issue and several Nintendo Switch 2 problems. NEOWIZ’s official news archive currently lists version 1.13.1.0, dated August 5, 2026, so the two official channels do not show the same latest version.

Installation and missing items
The version 1.14.0.0 notice advises using game data distributed through official channels, updating the game, and installing the base game and patch data on the same storage device. This is developer guidance, not a guarantee against crashes or data loss.

If you pick up an item while your Bag is full, check Storage: the notice says those pickups are sent there.

Access conditions depend on whether you are on your first playthrough or a repeat run, and on which update’s rules apply.

First playthrough
The June 6, 2025 Overture launch notes say to reach Chapter 9 and repair the Hotel Stargazer before entering the Forgotten Time. The launch update also added Battle Memories and Death March, boss-rematch modes that require completing the main story and reaching one ending.
Second playthrough
Update 1.9.0.0 later made Overture accessible from Chapter 5 at the Path of the Pilgrim, but only on a player’s second playthrough. That update also reduced monster difficulty on repeat playthroughs and adjusted some field-monster stats during a first Overture playthrough. The chapter-5 route should not be confused with the launch notes’ Chapter 9 requirement for a first run.

The launch update introduced three difficulty options, colorblind mode and intensity settings, along with other quality-of-life changes. It also reset button and key settings, so check your controls after installing it. The June 6, 2025 official Steam announcement stream and the NEOWIZ news archive provide the respective notices.
Earlier patch changes
Historical notes can help explain older balance or compatibility changes, but they do not describe the current build unless a later notice confirms that they remain unchanged.

Update 1.9.0.0
Alongside the Overture access and difficulty adjustments described above, this update made the DLC available from Chapter 5 at the Path of the Pilgrim on a second playthrough.
Update 1.2.0.0
Version 1.2.0.0 lowered HP for some field monsters and named bosses, adjusted rewards and drops, and added options to reset level, P-Organ, and Legion Arms at the Gold Coin Tree. It also added DualShock 4 and DualSense controller support on Windows. The official notes included instructions for several known issues, including controller-display behavior on Windows. These are historical changes, not a summary of version 1.14.0.0.
