Little Kitty, Big City is scheduled to launch on iPhone, iPad, and eligible Android devices on October 12, 2026, according to developer Double Dagger Studio. The mobile release is listed for everywhere except China, where it is coming later. Players can try the opening portion for free, then make a one-time purchase to unlock the rest of the game.
When does Little Kitty, Big City come to Android and iOS?
Double Dagger Studio’s mobile FAQ gives October 12, 2026, as the launch date for iPhone, iPad, and eligible Android devices. The studio says the release will be available everywhere except China, which is planned for a later date.

There is a discrepancy with the US Apple listing: when checked, it displayed “Expected Dec 31, 2026” rather than October 12. That is a different expected date shown by the storefront, not confirmation of a second launch. The developer FAQ is the source for the October 12 date.

iPhone and iPad
The US App Store listing names iPhone and iPad compatibility and requires iOS or iPadOS 13.0 or later.

Android phones and tablets
The developer says the game will run on thousands of Android phones and tablets, but some devices will not meet Google Play requirements. Check the Google Play listing on the device you intend to use to confirm availability. The reviewed FAQ does not specify a minimum Android version.
Is the mobile game free?
Both mobile storefronts use a try-before-you-buy model: download the game and play a portion at no charge, then make one in-app purchase for a permanent unlock of the full game. On Apple’s US listing, the free trial ends after you collect and turn in 25 Shinies to Crow; progress carries over if you buy the unlock. The same US listing showed a $12.99 full-game unlock when checked. That is a US storefront price, not a worldwide price, and store prices can change.

The Google Play listing also describes a free trial followed by a single purchase, with no subscription. Double Dagger Studio says the mobile edition has no ads or paid DLC.

The game keeps nearly all of the original adventure, in which a curious cat explores a city, meets stray animals, collects hats, and looks for a way home. Its controls have been rebuilt for mobile, and the edition adds an exclusive AR mode. The store listings say camera and AR features require the full-game unlock, so they are not available during the free trial.

Do PC or console owners get the mobile game?
No. The mobile version is a separate purchase from PC and console versions. An iPhone or iPad purchase also does not unlock the Android version, and an Android purchase does not unlock the Apple version; each storefront purchase applies only to that platform family.

An internet connection is needed to download the game and purchase the full version. After that, the game can be played offline. Double Dagger Studio puts it this way in its FAQ: “Only to download the game and buy the full version. After that, you can play offline!”
