If your scheduled YouTube live stream is still offline, first check that the scheduled time matches the device’s time zone, the correct YouTube channel is connected, and your LiveReacting project is linked to the intended YouTube event. Then check LiveReacting’s dashboard for errors. If LiveReacting says the stream is live while YouTube says offline, LiveReacting says YouTube may still be processing the start; that status mismatch alone does not establish that the stream has failed.
Work through these checks in order

Verify the scheduled time and time zone
LiveReacting scheduling uses the device’s time zone. Compare the scheduled time with the intended local start time, and check which time zone the device used when the schedule was created. In LiveReacting’s documented workflow, YouTube streams can be scheduled up to two weeks ahead.

Confirm the connected YouTube channel
Make sure LiveReacting is connected to the channel where you expect the broadcast to appear, and that the connection is still active. If you manage multiple channels, do not assume the project is using the one currently open in YouTube.

Check LiveReacting’s dashboard for an error
Look for a dashboard error before changing the schedule or recreating the stream. An error may point to the issue more directly than the offline label on YouTube.

Make sure the project is linked to the right YouTube event
If you scheduled the event separately in YouTube, use LiveReacting’s advanced Connect to existing stream setting and select the intended event. LiveReacting says the event selector draws information such as the title and description from the channel. Its help material specifies that this feature requires the Medium plan or higher.
If you did not create a separate YouTube event, check that the event associated with the LiveReacting project is the one you intended to schedule.

When the two status indicators disagree, allow for processing
For the specific symptom “LiveReacting says my stream is live, but YouTube says offline,” LiveReacting’s troubleshooting guidance says, “YouTube is usually still processing the stream start.” LiveReacting does not specify a universal number of minutes to wait, so do not treat a fixed wait time as a guarantee or infer failure from the status mismatch alone.

If the stream has actually failed, reconnect and recreate it
Confirm the YouTube channel connection first. If the stream failed outright, LiveReacting recommends recreating the stream and starting again.

If you scheduled multiple dates or a repeat broadcast
LiveReacting says advanced multi-date and repeat schedules take a snapshot of the project state. In those modes, dates, duration, title, and description cannot be edited in place after scheduling. If one of those details is wrong, cancel the scheduled version, make the changes to the project, and schedule it again. This constraint applies to the advanced schedule modes described by LiveReacting, not necessarily to every kind of scheduled stream.
Choose the right event setup
There are two relevant configurations: create and schedule the stream through LiveReacting, or create the YouTube event separately and connect LiveReacting to it using Connect to existing stream. The second path is for an event that already exists on the channel; selecting it helps ensure the project is associated with the intended scheduled broadcast.
