What’s actually slowing this PC down?

The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE stands out for its Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS), which replaces conventional main-button microswitches with adjustable inductive sensing and haptic feedback. That lets players tune when the buttons actuate and reset, but it does not establish that they will react faster or perform better in games. The key question is whether its unusual, configurable click feel is worth the price and 60 g listed weight.
What makes the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE different?
Logitech describes HITS as inductive analog sensing paired with real-time haptics. Instead of relying on traditional microswitches for the two main buttons, the system detects button travel and provides synchronized click feedback. Logitech says users can adjust actuation and rapid-trigger reset points for both buttons, as well as select among six haptic intensity levels. Logitech’s product page details the advertised controls.
In practical terms, actuation settings determine how far a button must move before a click registers; reset settings determine when it is ready to register again. These adjustments may appeal to players who want short, repeatable presses or a click sensation tailored to their preference. They also change a familiar part of using a mouse, so the haptic feel is a matter of personal fit rather than an automatic upgrade.
Logitech claims HITS can reduce click latency by up to 30 ms. That is the company’s maximum claim, not an independently established result that applies across players, games, or setups. Adjustable clicks may suit a player’s technique, but neither the claim nor the feature alone proves a competitive advantage.

| Dimensions | 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm |
| Sensor | HERO 2 |
| Resolution range | 100–44,000 DPI |

The resolution, report rate, acceleration, and speed figures describe upper specifications; they do not, by themselves, show a practical advantage in play. Battery life is also an “up to” manufacturer claim for constant-motion use, not a guarantee for every user or configuration. Advanced features require Logitech G HUB. How it feels in practice—and what independent coverage says
HITS makes the click mechanism the central buying decision. Someone who enjoys dialing in actuation and reset behavior may value the control; someone who prefers a familiar microswitch click may not. The six advertised haptic levels let users adjust feedback intensity, but the best setting—and whether the sensation feels natural—depends on the individual.

PC Gamer’s reviewer, in a review published February 10, 2026, found the system exciting and said they expected to keep using the mouse. The reviewer also acknowledged it was not a clear victory over lighter alternatives and described the potential gains from low actuation and rapid trigger as worth a 20 g reduction from an already-light mouse. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a controlled comparison or evidence of what every player will prefer. Read PC Gamer’s review.
Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you specifically want adjustable actuation and reset behavior, are curious about haptic clicks, and are willing to adapt to a different button feel.
- Compare alternatives if low weight or familiar click mechanics matter more to you than tuning the main buttons. At 60 g by Logitech’s listing, the SUPERSTRIKE is not the lightest possible choice simply because it is a gaming mouse; shape and hand fit also need personal evaluation.
- Do not buy it on headline maximums alone. Its DPI and report-rate figures are manufacturer specifications, not proof that you will aim or react better.
When comparing it with another mouse, focus on whether the click mechanism and adjustment options suit you, then weigh the shape, weight, wireless receiver arrangement, software needs, battery claim, and regional price. The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE’s defining difference is HITS, not a guarantee that its maximum sensor or report-rate numbers will translate into better results.
