How to check your own client without assuming a menu path
The following is a discovery checklist, not a confirmed sequence of Mabinogi Mobile taps. Labels and locations can differ by platform, region and update. Stop when the relevant control is absent rather than selecting an unrelated setting.
- Record the client you are using. Note whether you play on iOS, Android or Windows PC, the store or launcher that supplied it, and the country or region associated with that account.
- Start from the game’s main screen. Look for a button commonly used for system menus, such as a menu icon, gear, options button or profile menu. Do not assume that a label translated as “Language and Voice Settings” belongs to Mabinogi Mobile.
- Inspect settings categories one at a time. Check sections whose labels refer to system, general, display, audio, accessibility or language. Record the exact labels your client shows; this makes a support request easier to answer.
- Separate text and audio controls. If you find a language control, determine whether it changes interface text, subtitles, dialogue text or all written content. If you find an audio control, check whether it changes spoken dialogue, sound effects or only volume.
- Apply only a clearly identified change. If the client presents a language selector, note the current value before saving. Some games require a restart, a new login or an additional download after a language change; follow the prompt shown by your client rather than guessing.
- Verify after restarting. Check a menu, a dialogue window and an audio scene so you know which part changed. A changed device language or launcher language is not evidence that the game itself supports that language.
If no text or voice option appears, that absence is useful information for support. It is not a reason to copy a path from another title or to use unofficial workarounds that could affect account access.
Text language and voice language may be different controls
The available official Mabinogi Mobile material does not establish that written language and spoken language are independent settings. It also does not establish that either can be changed after the initial setup. Treat these as separate questions when examining your client:
- Text: interface labels, menus, quests, item descriptions, system notices and subtitles.
- Voice: spoken dialogue or character voices, if a particular scene includes them.

Platform and region checks
iOS and Android
The official Japanese site lists both iOS and Android as supported platforms. Its platform information does not document an in-game language path. The store region, account region and game server may affect which build you receive, so record all three when troubleshooting. Changing the phone’s system language may change the operating system or store interface without changing Mabinogi Mobile’s own text or voice.
Windows PC
Windows PC is also listed by the official Japanese site. A launcher can have its own language preference, while the game client has a separate setting—or no language selector at all. Check the launcher and the game independently, and note which one changed when you test. Do not treat a launcher translation as confirmation of an in-game text or voice option.
Regional service
Nexon’s Korean support FAQ says Mabinogi Mobile is officially serviced for Korea and cautions that access outside Korea may be unavailable or may not provide smooth play. It also warns that abnormal access methods or circumvention may prevent normal support, and notes that the information reflects the game situation when the FAQ was written and can change after updates. Read the Korean support FAQ for that regional qualification before treating another region’s instructions as applicable to your account.

This does not prove that every non-Korean connection will fail, nor does it identify a universal language policy. It means that region is a required diagnostic detail when your menus differ from a guide or another player’s screenshots.

Why the “Language and Voice Settings” result is misleading
A search result may display the path [Menu] > [Language and Voice Settings]. The linked page, however, identifies its supported title as DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE. It is not a Mabinogi Mobile help page. You can inspect the Bandai Namco language-settings FAQ to see the title context, but its instructions should not be applied to Mabinogi Mobile.
This distinction is especially important when a result uses generic wording. Similar menu names occur across games, but that does not establish that the same menu exists, that the same languages are offered, or that voice and text are linked in the same way.
Troubleshooting when the game opens in an unexpected language
The interface changed after an update
Write down the client version shown on the title screen or launcher, the platform, the region and the language now displayed. Compare the labels in the current build rather than following an older screenshot. The Korean FAQ explicitly warns that game conditions can change after updates, so a previously accurate instruction may no longer match your client.
The phone or PC is in the desired language but the game is not
Device language and game language are separate settings unless the game documents an automatic relationship. Confirm whether the game itself shows a language control. If it does not, avoid repeatedly changing the operating system language; that can alter other applications without resolving the game’s text.

Voice changed, but text did not—or the reverse
Check whether you changed a language control or only an audio-volume control. Then test a scene with spoken dialogue and a screen with written text. Because no official Mabinogi Mobile source found here confirms independent selectors, report the two results separately to support instead of assuming one setting should control both.
The language option is missing
Capture the settings screen, including the surrounding category names, and record your platform, region, account or server, client version and installation source. A missing option can reflect a regional build, an update, an account state or a feature that the client does not provide. Only the support team for your client can confirm which explanation applies.
The game will not start or support is unavailable after a regional workaround
Do not continue using circumvention or abnormal access methods to force a different client. Nexon’s Korean support information warns that such access may prevent normal support. Return to the official distribution route for your region and contact the relevant support channel with the details above.

- platform: iOS, Android or Windows PC;
- installation source, such as the applicable regional store or launcher;
- client version and the date the behavior appeared;
- current interface language and the language you want;
- whether you mean interface text, subtitles, spoken dialogue or all three;
- the exact settings categories and labels you can see;
- screenshots that do not expose passwords, payment information or other account secrets; and
- whether the device or launcher language was changed before the issue occurred.
Ask two separate questions: “Does this client support changing written language?” and “Does this client support changing spoken-dialogue language independently?” This avoids receiving an answer about volume, subtitles or the launcher when you need a different control.
What can and cannot be concluded today
The official Japanese Mabinogi Mobile site confirms iOS, Android and Windows PC availability and describes a free-to-play online RPG with some paid content, but it does not document language controls. Nexon’s Korean support page supplies a regional-service warning, not a language-settings procedure. Together, those sources support checking the exact regional client and asking its official support; they do not support publishing a universal tap path or a list of supported text or voice languages.
Until a Mabinogi Mobile-specific support page or in-client documentation identifies the controls, treat any claimed path, language list or independent voice selector as unverified unless it is shown by your own client or confirmed by the support team serving your region.
