If Madden NFL 24 Ultimate Team will not load, that alone does not show that Madden NFL 24’s servers are down. Check EA and your platform’s service status first, then work through updates, restarts, your connection, platform cache, subscription, and EA Account access.
There is an important status limitation: EA’s live server-status page examined on October 8, 2026 listed Madden NFL 27 and Madden NFL 26, but not Madden NFL 24. That omission does not confirm that Madden NFL 24 is offline or available.

How to tell whether the problem is an outage
EA’s current Madden connection guide says to check both EA’s game servers and the servers for your platform. Either service can block online play during an outage or maintenance. EA’s guidance is currently presented for Madden NFL 27, so it is a useful general diagnostic sequence, not confirmation of Madden NFL 24’s present server status.
EA notes that a server issue usually affects many players at the same time. Compare what you see with reports from other Madden NFL 24 players, and check EA and platform service indicators. If multiple players report the same failure and a service is showing an outage, wait for restoration rather than changing settings on your device.

If other players can connect, or service indicators show no outage, the issue may be specific to your device, connection, account, or platform. If other online modes also fail, that points to a broader connection or account problem; if only Ultimate Team is affected, note that distinction when reporting it.
What to try when services appear available
- Install pending updates. Check for updates to Madden NFL 24, your console or PC operating system, and any launcher you use.
- Fully close and relaunch Madden. Do not leave the game suspended or running in the background; exit it, then start it again.
- Restart your device. Restart the console or PC, then try connecting again.
- Restart your network equipment. Restart the modem and router, allow them to reconnect, and then test the game.
- Test the internet connection. If possible, try a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi, mobile, or satellite internet. If you are using Wi-Fi, check the router’s indicator lights as well as whether other devices can get online.

Check platform and EA Account access
- Platform cache: Follow the cache-clearing guidance for your specific console or launcher. The steps differ by platform.
- Online subscription: Check whether your platform requires an active online-play subscription for the feature you are using, and whether that subscription is active on the account playing Madden.
- EA Account: Confirm that you can sign in to the EA Account linked to your platform account. Check for sign-in problems, account restrictions, or child-account controls that could limit online access.
- Account status: If you suspect a suspension, deletion, or an account-linking problem, check the affected EA Account and platform account rather than creating or using a duplicate account as a workaround.
Does Madden NFL 24’s EA Play removal mean the servers closed?
No. EA’s service-updates page says Madden NFL 24 was removed from the EA Play Pro and EA Play List on February 17, 2026. That is a change to subscription-catalog availability, not a notice that Madden NFL 24’s servers shut down.
EA has a Madden NFL 24 support page, but the page does not establish the game’s current server availability. EA’s historical Madden NFL 24 Ultimate Team material confirms that the mode was part of the game at launch; it does not establish whether the mode is available now.

Contact EA with useful troubleshooting details
If you still cannot connect, gather the information EA asks players to provide before contacting support:
- Your EA ID or the email address on the EA Account
- Your platform and platform account ID
- When the issue began, what happened, and which steps you have already tried
- The exact error message, plus a screenshot or video if available
Include whether the problem affects only Ultimate Team or other online modes too. That helps distinguish a mode-specific symptom from a wider connection failure.
