EA’s Madden NFL 25 Superstar Mode centers on a customizable player avatar, with Combine drills, a career route called The League, competitive play in Showdown, and live and seasonal experiences. The mode was available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC—not PS4. Road to Glory avatar import from EA SPORTS College Football 25 was narrower still: it was available only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What is Superstar Mode in Madden NFL 25?
Superstar Mode is Madden NFL 25’s avatar-based experience. In its August 16, 2024 launch announcement, EA described a customizable avatar developed through new Combine drills, alongside two named components: The League and Showdown. EA positioned The League as the career-facing path and Showdown as the competitive showcase, but its announcement did not give a detailed walkthrough of their progression systems.

The League and Showdown
The League is the mode’s career-focused experience; Showdown is its competitive counterpart. EA also announced year-round live events and seasonal experiences. Those descriptions establish the broad shape of the mode, not specific rules, rewards, or progression mechanics.
Which platforms have Superstar Mode?
EA said the Superstar features announced for Madden NFL 25 were available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The PS4 version does not include Superstar Mode. Although the PlayStation Store lists the game for both PS4 and PS5, its listing identifies Superstar and certain updated features as PS5-only.

EA’s platform statements distinguish access to Superstar Mode from access to avatar import: PC supports the mode but not the import feature. EA also said College Football 25 and the import feature were unavailable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Can you import a Road to Glory player into Madden NFL 25?
Yes, if you play on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. EA said eligible players could import an avatar from EA SPORTS College Football 25’s Road to Glory into Madden NFL 25 Superstar Mode and progress that Superstar toward Legendary status. The import feature was not available on PC, PS4, or Xbox One.

Madden NFL 25 launched worldwide on August 16, 2024. The PlayStation Store lists that same release date for its PS4 and PS5 editions. The feature details here refer to the 2024 game; they should not be conflated with systems described for later Madden NFL releases.
