Madden NFL 25’s Superstar mode is a created-player NFL career experience with two routes: play a solo career in The League or compete online in Showdown. EA lists eight playable positions and says an eligible player from EA SPORTS College Football’s Road to Glory can be imported. Superstar is available in the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions—not PS4 or Xbox One.
What is Superstar mode?
EA describes Superstar as a player-centered NFL career mode. You create a player and pursue an NFL career, with progression and activities including trades, quests, rewards, and building a legacy. The mode offers two distinct paths: The League and Showdown.

The League or Showdown: which path should you choose?

Can you import a College Football player?
EA says you can import an eligible Road to Glory player from EA SPORTS College Football. The help overview does not spell out all import requirements, so check the in-game prompts and EA’s current support instructions before planning a transfer. You can also create a Superstar instead of importing a player.

Check the platform and edition before buying: owning Madden NFL 25 on PS4 or Xbox One does not provide access to Superstar. EA announced the game’s worldwide launch for August 16, 2024; that historical date does not confirm present-day storefront availability.
