What kind of game is it?
2K describes Mafia: The Old Country as a third-person action-adventure set in 1900s Sicily. Players follow Enzo Favara, who survives childhood indentured labor in Sicily’s sulfur mines and gets an opportunity to join Don Torrisi’s crime family. The December 2024 reveal described the game as linear and narrative-driven, combining stealth and gunplay. In May 2025, Hangar 13 President Nick Baynes called it a “focused, linear experience.” These are the publisher and developer’s descriptions of the game.
What platforms is Mafia: The Old Country on?
2K’s May 2025 release announcement named PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. The August launch announcement confirmed availability on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. GeForce NOW is a cloud gaming service, not a console or physical game format.
