Updated October 8, 2026: Secrets of Strixhaven is already out: its tabletop release was April 24, 2026. Wizards of the Coast’s published preorder and shortage notices describe the launch period, not current stock. They do not confirm whether any retailer has inventory or has restocked since then, so check a seller’s current listing before buying.
Is Secrets of Strixhaven available to preorder?
No longer as an upcoming release: the set’s tabletop launch was April 24, 2026. Wizards originally named local game stores, TCGplayer, Amazon, and other Magic sellers as preorder channels. That historical announcement does not establish that any of those listings remain open or have stock now. For a current purchase, check the retailer’s listing directly and confirm the region, price, and availability shown at the time.
What is known about Secrets of Strixhaven restocks?
Wizards announced on March 31, 2026, that a production issue could cause shortages of Commander decks and Bundles in North America around Prerelease weekend. It expected full Commander deck allocations to reach stores in the next week or two. Bundles, excluding Codex Bundles, were unlikely to be available during Prerelease and were expected to begin arriving around the April 24 release weekend. Those statements were forecasts about early-release supply, not reports of October inventory or later restocks. Wizards advised customers: “Please be sure to check with your local game store for availability.” (Wizards of the Coast, March 31, 2026.)
The official information does not establish which retailers have stock today, whether a restock happened after launch, or what current prices are. Availability can differ by seller and region; verify those details with the retailer rather than treating the launch notice as a live stock update.
