The Manba One Ver 2 puts a 2-inch settings screen, Hall-effect sticks and triggers, four rear buttons, and three saved configurations into one controller. Its screen makes customization unusually accessible, but the feature list does not settle the more practical questions: whether its controls feel good in play and whether it works with your device over the connection you intend to use. Independent reviews of earlier Manba One samples praised the customization while reporting mixed results for comfort, button feel, and build quality; those impressions should not be assumed to describe Ver 2 without confirming the tested revision.
What makes the Manba One different?
Its defining feature is a 2-inch interactive display built into the controller. MANBA says players can use it to adjust settings on the device itself, without a companion app. The menu includes options for vibration, buttons, joysticks, and lighting, putting configuration within reach rather than behind a phone or PC utility.
MANBA’s current listing describes Hall-effect joystick and trigger controls, four rear buttons with macro settings, and three saved configurations. It also lists a six-axis gyroscope, a built-in 1,800 mAh battery, and a charging station that includes a Bluetooth receiver. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified test results. The listed 800 Hz polling rate applies to wired use; it should not be read as a wireless polling-rate claim.
The package also includes joystick tops in high and low heights. MANBA says magnetic covers are sold separately, but current retailer availability and version compatibility for those covers are not established.

Does the screen improve the experience?
The screen’s practical appeal is straightforward: it gives the controller a way to change and save settings without requiring another device. For players who regularly adjust button assignments, stick behavior, vibration, or lighting, onboard controls can make those changes more convenient. Three saved configurations add the option to keep different setups ready.
That convenience is not the same as proof that the controller feels better to use. Tom’s Guide’s Eve Butt, in a review published November 7, 2024, praised the quick onboard configuration and described the back buttons as rebindable with multi-button macro support. TechRadar also characterized the display as intuitive and the controller as precise and tweakable. These are reviewer impressions of their samples, not findings that can automatically be carried over to the current Ver 2.

How do the controls and ergonomics compare?
Reviews of the Manba One report a mixed picture. Tom’s Guide criticized the shallow or unsatisfying feel of the face buttons and D-pad, awkward button placement, and a casing that felt cheap to the reviewer. TechRadar reported comfort and button-placement concerns. GamesRadar+ cited premium-build concerns and thumbstick calibration or sensitivity among its reasons to avoid the controller. These observations describe the reviewers’ experiences; they are not universal defects, and the sources do not establish that each reviewed unit was Ver 2.
Those caveats matter because Hall-effect components and extensive configuration options describe capability, not tactile quality. If you prioritize a familiar, comfortable layout or particular button feel, treat the reviews as reasons to check the return policy and identify the hardware revision before buying rather than as a guarantee of how a current unit will feel.

Which devices does it support?
MANBA’s wording differs across its product and compatibility pages, so check the exact device and connection mode rather than relying on a broad “multi-platform” label. The company’s compatibility page lists Switch, phone, Android TV, Windows PC, and Steam Deck, and explicitly excludes Xbox and PS5 consoles. Its product page names Switch 1/2 and OLED, iOS and Android, and Windows PC using a Bluetooth adapter or USB cable; it likewise says PlayStation and Xbox are unsupported.
For a PC connection, MANBA notes possible Bluetooth instability on its PC connection guidance and recommends using a dongle. TechRadar’s review lists Bluetooth wireless and USB-C wired connections and reports PC, Switch, Android, and iOS compatibility; that is review-era information, not a substitute for confirming support for your exact device and setup.

How to pair or troubleshoot it
- Confirm your target device and connection. Check MANBA’s compatibility guidance for the platform and mode you plan to use. For PC, consider the company’s dongle recommendation if Bluetooth is unstable.
- Reconnect a previously paired device. Open the controller’s on-screen menu and select Pairing, as MANBA advises for reconnecting a device that was already paired.
- Use the controller menu for checks and calibration. MANBA’s FAQ documents joystick, trigger, and gyroscope calibration, button testing, and reset steps.
- Check the revision before applying Switch 2 guidance. MANBA’s FAQ describes a Switch 2 disconnection/NFC-lag upgrade package and says it supports V2, not V1. Confirm the controller revision and follow the current official instructions before attempting an upgrade.
What do the reviews say about value?
The Manba One’s case rests on whether its onboard configuration and included features matter more to you than the reported compromises in controls and ergonomics. Tom’s Guide listed an Amazon price of $69.99 in its November 2024 review; that is historical, not a current quote. MANBA’s current product listing also showed $69.99 when accessed in 2026, but live price, seller, stock, and the revision being sold can change. Compare the current listing with alternatives at the time you buy rather than treating either figure as a stable price.
TechRadar reported approximately 10 hours of battery life in its review. That is a reviewer-reported figure from 2024, not a current manufacturer guarantee or a battery-life result independently established here. MANBA’s current listing specifies battery capacity, not a comparable runtime claim.

Verdict: who should consider the Manba One Ver 2?
The Manba One Ver 2 is most compelling for players who want to configure a controller directly on the device and will make use of its macros, profiles, gyroscope, or replaceable joystick tops. The 2-inch screen gives that customization a clear purpose. It is a less certain choice for anyone whose priority is proven comfort, button feel, or premium build, because independent reviews report concerns in those areas and do not establish that their samples match the current revision. Verify your platform, connection mode, and the unit’s version before purchase.
