In the main-branch updates 0.8.090–0.8.104, Apiaries build honey yield through Spring and Summer, then are harvested in Autumn. Yield and the number of Apiaries your meadow can support depend on local conditions, so they are not a steady monthly source of honey. Honey’s documented production use is at the Brewery, where it becomes mead at a 1:1 ratio.
How Apiaries produce honey
The official Manor Lords patch notes for main-branch versions 0.8.090–0.8.104 describe Apiaries as seasonal: they accumulate yield over Spring and Summer and are harvested in Autumn. The notes state, “Yield is determined by Wilding Affinity.” They also say the meadow environment determines apiary yield strength and how many Apiaries can be supported.
In practical terms, assess the meadow before committing to Apiaries: local conditions affect both what they produce and how many the area can support. Plan around an Autumn harvest rather than expecting honey to arrive evenly throughout the year.
What Honey is used for
The main-branch patch notes document Honey as an ingredient for mead at the Brewery. The recipe uses Honey and produces mead at a 1:1 ratio. This gives Honey a production role beyond simply holding it as a stockpile: it can feed the mead-making chain.

What Woodland Beekeeping changes
A separate beta note on the official Manor Lords announcements page describes Woodland Beekeeping as a development perk that repurposes the Forester’s Hut to tend beehives in nearby woodland during Spring and Summer, then harvest Honey and Wax in Autumn.
The beta note says the perk increases the Apiary limit by 10%, allowing a stronger Pollination bonus. That figure is an increase to the limit, not a stated direct increase to each Apiary’s yield. Because this description is identified as beta material, do not assume it applies to the main branch unless the version you play includes it.

Trading Honey: check current market values
Regular goods are traded through the Trading Post, and trade prices respond to global market supply, according to the Manor Lords Official Wiki’s Trade page. Its trade-good table is marked as updated for version 0.8.050, which predates the 0.8.090–0.8.104 main-branch notes. Treat its displayed Honey price as version-specific rather than a confirmed current value; check the Trading Post and market conditions in your game before deciding whether to sell.
