Its broad appeal is exploration: Nintendo Life describes it as “a lush forest island full of shortcuts and secrets.” The available guidance confirms the island’s region and character, but not a precise route or puzzle walkthrough; use the game’s general exploration tools to look for openings without assuming every tip below refers to a Raynforst-specific feature.
Where is Raynforst Island?
Raynforst is in the Lushgreen Sea, one of the regions in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Nintendo Life’s all-island locations guide identifies it as a forest island with shortcuts and secrets. In the game, Mario and Luigi travel across Concordia, reconnecting its islands while exploring, solving puzzles, and fighting turn-based battles, as described in Nintendo’s overview.

How to explore Raynforst Island
Use these as general exploration checks from Nintendo’s tips for Brothership, not as a confirmed sequence of Raynforst objectives:
- Look for glints. A glint can indicate a hidden ? Block. Check apparently empty platforms and dead ends rather than only following the obvious path.
- Recheck your map after making progress. Reconnecting islands and advancing the story can open paths or side quests. If an area seems finished, return after a major story development and see whether the map shows anything new.
- Use the Adventure Log when you lose the thread. Check its Main Story entry for a reminder of what to do next instead of guessing at an island-specific trigger.
- Handle red-marked side quests promptly. Nintendo warns that these quests can disappear if you progress too far in the main story.
What this guide can—and cannot—confirm
The available island-specific information establishes Raynforst’s location and forest character, but not its entrance route, required Bros. Move, switch or puzzle order, Toad rescue sequence, enemy or boss lineup, or collectible total. It also does not establish whether any Raynforst collectible is permanently missable. Avoid treating general game tips as proof of a specific island puzzle or collectible.

The key practical distinction is between continuing the main story and optional exploration: follow the Main Story entry if you are stuck, but inspect the map and revisit connected islands for paths or side quests that may open with progress. A chapter marker in a 100% walkthrough video confirms Raynforst appears during the campaign, but does not by itself establish a route or completion checklist.
