For players who enjoy movement-focused 2.5D platformers, the answer is yes—with expectations set for a modest-sized adventure. Punch, Twister and Hope can jump, punch, dash and swing from their tails, and the appeal is in combining those actions as you move through a level. Microids describes environments including the Palombian jungle, a coastal city and an abandoned temple.

Meristation praised the level design and the satisfying way the movement mechanics fit together, while judging the game not especially ambitious and saying its levels could vary more. That makes this a stronger fit for a compact, accessible platforming session than for someone seeking a long campaign or constant mechanical surprises.
How long is Marsupilami: Hoobadventure?
Meristation estimated about three hours for the main story, with roughly two additional hours for full completion. Treat that as one reviewer’s estimate, not a fixed runtime: how long you spend depends on your pace and whether you pursue the optional content.

Beyond the main route, Microids lists Time Attack, hidden feathers, secret dojos and an unlockable artwork gallery. These give completion-minded players extra goals, though they do not change the short length Meristation noted for the central adventure.
What platforms is Marsupilami: Hoobadventure on?
Microids announced the game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and stated that it is compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The US PlayStation Store listing identifies its product for PS4 and PS5, and the US Nintendo store page offers a Switch edition. Compatibility is not a promise that performance is identical across platforms.

Meristation’s review specifically reported technical shortcomings on Nintendo Switch in docked mode. That is the outlet’s experience, not a universal performance measurement or evidence about every platform version. If you are choosing where to play, weigh that review note separately from Microids’ platform compatibility information.
Is Marsupilami: Hoobadventure suitable for kids?
Microids says the game mainly targets younger players, and its straightforward platforming and colorful presentation align with an accessible audience. The story follows Punch, Twister and Hope after they accidentally free a ghost from a sarcophagus. A curse affects the animals; the three Marsupilamis are immune and set off after the ghost to undo it.

Does Marsupilami: Hoobadventure have a physical edition?
Yes. Microids lists a Tropical Edition and a Collector’s Edition. The Tropical Edition includes the game, two sticker sheets and a door hanger; the Collector’s Edition adds a 14 cm figurine. Edition contents and availability may depend on retailer and region. By contrast, the US Nintendo store page reviewed here is explicitly for a digital edition.

What do players think of Marsupilami: Hoobadventure?
Storefront user ratings are positive, but they represent different platform communities and are snapshots that can change. At access on October 8, 2026, Steam showed 95% positive from 441 all-time user reviews and 100% positive from 13 recent reviews. The US PlayStation Store showed 4.45 out of 5 from 718 ratings.
