The package collects six named retro Marvel games, several in multiple versions, and adds features such as rewind, save states and online play for up to six players in X-Men: The Arcade Game.
Which games are included?
The collection contains six distinct game titles. Some appear in several versions; those variants do not increase the number of named games. The platform labels below follow the official listings’ terminology.
- X-Men: The Arcade Game: arcade version.
- Captain America and The Avengers: arcade, “MEGA” and 8-bit versions.
- Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage: “SUPER” and “MEGA” versions.
- Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety: “SUPER” and “MEGA” versions; the listing highlights two-player co-op.
- Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge: “SUPER,” “MEGA,” “PORTABLE” and “GEAR” versions.
- Silver Surfer: 8-bit version.
These are the storefronts’ labels. The listings identify different versions, but the shorthand alone should not be treated as a complete explanation of each version’s original hardware or differences. PlayStation Store and Steam list the collection’s game variants.
What modern features does it add?
Six-player online X-Men arcade play
X-Men: The Arcade Game supports online multiplayer for up to six players with rollback netcode, according to the official listings. This is the collection’s clearest online draw. Other multiplayer capabilities differ by platform, so check the relevant store listing before choosing a system for a group.

Rewind, save states and cheats
The collection includes rewind and save states, plus cheats such as infinite lives in selected games. Cheats are not listed as available in every title.
Archival materials and music
An archive brings together scans of original box art, instruction manuals, vintage advertisements and promotional material. Marvel’s collection page says it contains over 100 official covers, ads, manuals and promos. A music player also lets players listen to music from the game versions.

Display options
Display choices include CRT and scanline filters for players who want a presentation closer to older screens. The product pages describe the options but do not establish that every setting is identical across platforms.
