Marvel Rivals is set to add a large-scale cooperative PvE event in which 50 players take on Thanos and his army in the ruins of Avengers Compound. The Avengers: Endgame-themed mode is scheduled for October 22, 2026, as part of the game’s Path to Doomsday event; that date was still upcoming as of October 7.
What is the Marvel Rivals Thanos mode?
It is an announced PvE event for Marvel Rivals, not a new standalone game. The event continues Path to Doomsday and draws on Avengers: Endgame. Dot Esports reports that 50 players will fight Thanos and his army amid the ruins of Avengers Compound.
The scale and cooperative format stand out for a game first introduced by NetEase Games as a team-based PvP shooter. That original description appears in NetEase Games’ announcement of Marvel Rivals.
When is the mode scheduled to arrive?
Contemporary coverage lists October 22, 2026 as the scheduled arrival date. Marvel Rivals’ official Dev Vision Vol. 22 announcement, published October 7, says new modes are coming for Season 10.5 as Path to Doomsday continues. The date remains a schedule rather than confirmation that the mode has launched.

What details have been announced—and what is still unknown?
The reported announcement establishes the player count, PvE premise, opponents, setting, and event theme. It does not establish the practical details players would need to plan a match.
