Marvel Rivals has two achievement-tracking systems: in-game achievements, which build category points toward rewards, and platform achievements or trophies, which are tracked separately by Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation. Choose the list for your platform and check each live description before attempting it; requirements and catalogs can change with updates.
Choose the achievement list for your platform
Use the platform tracker for a platform unlock: Steam’s achievement overlay or library, the Xbox achievement list, or the PlayStation trophy list. The official Marvel Rivals site links PlayStation 5/PS5 Pro, PlayStation 4, Steam/Windows, Xbox Series X|S, and Epic Games Store/Windows, but it does not publish an achievement list on the page: Marvel Rivals official site.

- Steam/PC: Check the achievement list in Steam. A Steam community guide updated for Season 9 lists 49 Steam achievements; this is a dated snapshot, not a current all-platform total: Emmosapien’s Steam guide.
- Xbox: Check the Xbox achievement list for the game. XboxAchievements.com listed 57 achievements worth 1,255 Gamerscore when accessed in 2026; it is a third-party catalog snapshot: XboxAchievements.com.
- PlayStation: Check the game’s trophy list on your console or PlayStation account. The available sources do not establish a verified current trophy count.
- Epic Games Store/Windows: The official site links the Windows Epic version, but the available sources do not establish a corresponding current achievement count or list.
Do not combine these figures into one total. They refer to different platforms and dates. A later roundup reported Season 10 and God Quarry additions, but that secondary report is not a synchronized official catalog: Dot Esports’ achievement roundup. Check the current in-game and platform lists for the version you play.
How to approach different achievement requirements
Marvel Rivals achievements can ask for different kinds of play, so read the exact description in the list you are pursuing before choosing a hero, map, or match plan. The available walkthroughs offer examples, not a guaranteed current catalogue.

Ability hits and clustered opponents
Some tasks involve hitting multiple opponents with an ability. Community walkthroughs recommend looking for clustered enemies, especially around objective choke points, but patches can change abilities and their names. Confirm the current wording and effect in-game rather than relying on an older walkthrough: Steam community guide, Season 4 update.
KOs, assists, and cumulative progress
Some requirements concern KOs or contributions to a KO; others may accumulate across matches. Do not assume that a KO contribution means you must land the Final Hit, or that progress must be completed in one match. Follow the specific platform achievement’s wording. A detailed Steam guide distinguishes KO contribution from Final Hit, but its task details may have aged: Steam community guide, Season 9.

Map, team, and objective conditions
Other tasks may depend on a particular map, teammate or team composition, time spent contesting an objective, or playing with friends. Check whether the description names a map, match condition, or other player requirement before queuing. If it does, plan the session around that constraint rather than expecting ordinary play to satisfy it.
Why an achievement may not appear immediately
Steam community walkthroughs report that some unlock notifications may not appear until the match ends. Treat this as a community-observed Steam behavior, not a rule for every platform or achievement. Finish the match when practical, then verify the unlock in the relevant platform tracker; the in-game achievement menu and platform list are separate surfaces.

In-game achievement groups and rewards
The in-game menu organizes achievements into four groups: Galacta’s Guide, Rivalry Rising, Heroic Journey, and Chronoverse Saga. Achievements award points within their groups, and point milestones can grant rewards such as Units and cosmetics. This is separate from platform trophy or achievement completion. There is no verified, synchronized current count across all platforms in the available sources. The Season 9 Steam guide’s 49-achievement figure and XboxAchievements.com’s 57-achievement, 1,255-Gamerscore listing are platform-specific snapshots. Updates can add or alter content; use the current tracker for your platform rather than relying on either number as a universal total.

How to make a reliable completion plan
- Open the platform achievement or trophy list you intend to complete, and separately inspect the in-game achievement menu if you also want its point rewards.
- Read each requirement in full. Note whether it is cumulative or match-specific, and whether it restricts the hero, map, mode, teammate, or objective.
- Group tasks that fit the same match conditions. For multi-target ability tasks, look for opportunities around objectives; for map- or team-specific tasks, wait until those conditions are available.
- After a qualifying match, check the platform tracker. If an unlock has not registered, finish the match first if you are on Steam, then check again.
- Recheck requirements after updates. Community walkthroughs are useful for ideas, but their season labels matter and roster, ability, map, and condition details may no longer match the live game.
No trustworthy completion-time estimate is established by the available sources, so plan by task requirements rather than an assumed number of hours.
