Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallFor most Marvel Rivals matches, start with two Vanguards, two Duelists, and two Strategists (2-2-2). It is the best-supported default role split in the available aggregate data, but there is no reliable current ranking of the single best six-hero lineup. Treat hero win rates as a shortlist of candidates, then build around a coherent brawl, dive, or poke plan, the map, the opposing team, active Team-Ups, and your players’ comfort. This snapshot reflects data available October 8, 2026; balance changes can make it stale quickly.
What is the best Marvel Rivals team composition?
Use a 2-2-2 lineup as your starting point: two Vanguards to contest and hold space, two Duelists to apply damage and pressure, and two Strategists to heal and support the team. Rivals Meta displays a 53.60% win rate and 71.89% pick rate across 1,634,847 matches for that role split. The page does not clearly state the reporting window, rank distribution, or whether its figures are comparable with other trackers, so this is evidence for a practical default—not proof that 2-2-2 is best on every map or at every rank. Rivals Meta’s composition data
The next most common listed split, one Vanguard, three Duelists, and two Strategists, is shown at 45.25% win rate and 13.23% pick rate across 300,943 matches. That is a much less frequent option in the displayed aggregate, not a recommendation to never use it: a coordinated team may choose a different setup for its strategy or player strengths.

CounterWatch’s Season 10 tier list, accessed October 8, 2026, highlights these all-rank performers. Its data is from opted-in community matches, not official NetEase telemetry. The tracker says it refreshes daily and uses Bayesian shrinkage toward 50% to reduce small-sample noise; its tier-list values can differ slightly from its other live views.

CounterWatch reported 56 heroes tracked and 4.0 million analyzed matches on its October 7, 2026 Season 10 tracker page. Those figures describe the tracker’s opted-in community sample. The hero percentages show team outcomes in matches where a hero was played; they do not establish that the hero caused those results or that these six heroes form an effective lineup together. CounterWatch says its overall ordering averages across composition, map, and player rank, and recommends checking those filters along with matchups and Team-Ups. CounterWatch hero tracker
Rocket Raccoon and Mister Fantastic are also among the high performers listed by CounterWatch. Use them, or another comfortable pick, when they fit the role and game plan better than a higher-ranked option.

Choose a team plan: brawl, dive, or poke
Think of these as strategic frameworks, not statistical tiers. Each can work within 2-2-2; the key is whether your six heroes can execute the same plan.
Brawl
Brawl aims to contest space and win sustained objective fights with a durable frontline, persistent damage, and healing. Its main risk is allowing mobile opponents to bypass the frontline and attack its backline. Protecting supports and turning together toward a dive can matter more than adding another source of frontline damage.
Rank #3
- TEAM-UP WITH A MARVEL RIVALS: The Moon Knight figure is inspired by his appearance in the Marvel Rivals video game where Super Heroes and Super Villains from across the Marvel Multiverse use their incredible abilities to battle

- MOON GOD'S CHOSEN: Bathed in a luminous aura that pierces the darkness, Moon Knight glides through the night, ready to sear his enemies with his master's sacred Ankhs
Dive
Dive uses mobile damage dealers, a Vanguard, and a Strategist who can help enable or sustain an engage. Its goal is to pressure vulnerable backline targets before the other team can settle into position. A dive that arrives at different times can be controlled and punished by a structured brawl, so coordinate targets and entry timing rather than jumping in alone.
Poke
Poke applies ranged pressure and uses defensive frontline tools to wear the opposition down before committing to a fight. Its vulnerability is a fast dive that closes the distance and disrupts its ranged players. Keep enough protection and mobility to survive that approach, and avoid treating long-range damage as a substitute for objective presence.

How to build a six-hero lineup
- Lock in role coverage. Start at 2-2-2 unless your team has a specific reason to alter the split.
- Choose one main approach. Decide whether you want to brawl on the objective, dive priority targets, or poke before committing. Do not assume a list of individually high-win-rate heroes automatically creates a coherent comp.
- Check the map and opponent. Consider whether the map favors your chosen engagement pattern and what the other team is trying to do. If a dive is reaching your backline, add ways to protect or punish it; if your own dive is repeatedly controlled, coordinate the engage or reconsider the approach.
- Review active Team-Ups. Build around pairings that are available to your selected heroes and that support the plan. Team-Up effects change, so verify the current in-game details rather than relying on an old lineup guide.
- Prefer a practiced alternative over a forced pick. Use the tier list to identify candidates, not to override player proficiency. Keep another viable hero in each role for counters, bans, or comfort.
- Use rank-specific information when available. Aggregate all-rank numbers smooth away differences in rank, map, and matchup. A hero’s overall position is not a guarantee for your matches.
Why fixed tier lists age quickly
NetEase’s July 8, 2026 Season 9 patch notes said, “The Team-Up System is receiving a massive, ground-up revamp!” The July 6 official balance post described evaluating heroes against the new Team-Up system and documented changes including Regenerative Shields, hero health, and Team-Up bonuses. The latest dated official balance post found for this snapshot is Version 20260911, published September 8, 2026. It reduced Strategist healing-to-ultimate-energy conversion from 70% to 65% and damage-to-energy conversion from 55% to 50%. It also changed individual heroes and pairings: Captain America’s Thor Team-Up, Voltaic Union, increased in duration from 7 to 10 seconds; Doctor Strange’s Hulk Team-Up removed Gamma Maelstrom spell-field damage falloff; and Mantis’s Adam Warlock Team-Up increased Healing Flower healing and its soul-form area healing. These are examples of why old fixed lineups may no longer perform as expected; they are not a complete account of that patch. Marvel Rivals Version 20260911 balance post
