Marvel Rivals has confirmed an Avengers: Infinity War-inspired Doctor Strange costume for its Infinity Finale event, scheduled to begin October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. A cosmetics tracker calls the skin “MCU,” rates it Epic, and lists it in the event pass, but those details are not specified in the official patch notes.
When does the Doctor Strange MCU skin come out?
The Infinity Finale event is scheduled to run from October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC to December 10, 2026, at 09:00 UTC, according to the Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 patch notes. The update’s maintenance was estimated at two hours, so the event start time is the published schedule rather than a guarantee that players can enter at that exact moment.
The official announcement confirms an Avengers: Infinity War-inspired Doctor Strange costume and matching bundle content, alongside costumes for Black Panther and other characters.
What is confirmed about the skin—and what comes from the leak?
Marvel Rivals’ official Season 10.5 notes, published October 6, say: “Other rewards include Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War inspired costumes and matching bundle content for Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and more!” The notes do not give the Doctor Strange costume a specific name, rarity, or Event Pass placement.

Rivalskins.com lists the costume as “MCU,” marks it Epic, and associates it with the Infinity Finale Event Pass, with an October 9 release date. Those are tracker-reported details, not specifics confirmed by the publisher. The official announcement supports the movie-inspired costume and event timing, but not those narrower claims.
Is the Doctor Strange Infinity War skin free?
The reviewed official notes do not state a price or explain the exact unlock route for Doctor Strange’s costume. They confirm matching bundle content, but do not say whether this skin is free, included in a pass, or sold separately. The Event Pass association comes from Rivalskins’ listing and should not be treated as an official acquisition guide.

Marvel Rivals has announced a departure time for another Doctor Strange cosmetic: its September 2026 notes said Nautical Mystic would leave after October 16, 2026, at 02:00 UTC. That separate listing shows that the game can publish specific store deadlines; it does not establish a return or departure policy for the new Infinity War-inspired skin.
