Change your crosshair—called a reticle in the game—in Settings → Keyboard or Controller → Combat → HUD. Choose a global reticle for all heroes or select an individual hero first. PC players can import a reticle code; on PlayStation and Xbox, enter its settings with the HUD sliders.
How to change your crosshair in Marvel Rivals
- Open Settings from the main menu or the in-match pause menu.
- Select Keyboard if you use mouse and keyboard, or Controller if you use a controller.
- Open Combat and scroll down to HUD.
- Choose a Reticle Type, then adjust the options shown for it. Depending on the type, these can include width, opacity, outline, blur, center gap, radius, length, angle, and color.
- Choose All Heroes for a shared default, or select a hero before editing to set a reticle for that character.
The settings location and controls are described by Rivals Compendium and GamesRadar+. Rivals Compendium is a fan-made resource and is not endorsed by NetEase or Marvel.
Import a crosshair code or enter its settings manually

| PC | In the HUD reticle controls, use Import Save beside Reticle Save, paste the code, and confirm. The code applies to the currently selected All Heroes or hero-specific filter. |
| PlayStation or Xbox | The described import flow does not paste codes on console. Use the code’s displayed values to recreate the reticle with the same in-game HUD sliders. |
These platform steps are documented in the Rivals Compendium crosshair guide. If you are setting up different reticles for different characters, select each hero before importing or editing that hero’s reticle.
Choose a reticle that is easy to see
There is no universally best crosshair established by the cited guides; useful shape and size depend on the hero, attack, and your preference. GamesRadar+ suggests a dot for precision-focused characters, a circle for some broader or cone-style attacks, and a larger reticle as a more visible reference for melee play. These are starting-point suggestions, not proven performance improvements.

- Shape and size: Try a dot, circle, or larger reticle and see which gives you a useful aiming reference without obscuring the action.
- Color and contrast: Check the reticle against different backgrounds and character effects. White may blend into pale or bright surfaces.
- Animation: Decide whether reticle movement or animation helps you read your aim or distracts you.
Test your choice in the practice range. Check whether the center point is clear while standing still and while strafing, then adjust any settings that make it hard to track. The contrast and reticle suggestions are covered by Rivals Compendium and GamesRadar+.
