How to reach the Festival of the Flea
The Festival is hosted by Fleamaster Mooshka in Fleatopia during Act 3, after you accept the Ecstasy of the End wish. The Hollow Knight Wiki’s festival reference says it remains available for the rest of the playthrough once started.
A third-party festival guide describes the route as rescuing all 30 fleas, reaching Act 3, accepting the wish, receiving the Egg of Flealia, and travelling to Fleatopia. Treat that as guide information, not a guaranteed checklist for every save state: use the current wish and quest text in your game to identify what remains.
The festival has three score-based games: Flea Juggle, Flea Dodge, and Flea Bounce. The wiki says Tools and Silk Skills have no effect in the contests, while Crests do. The available sources do not establish which Crest is best across all three games.

Flea Juggle: keep the fleas in the air
In Juggle, hit fleas as they fall to keep them airborne. The wiki’s rule summary says a falling flea can be struck from any direction except from above. That makes the central challenge timing and reach: position for the falling flea and swing as it enters your attack range instead of chasing it with uncontrolled movement.

These are in-game leaderboard values reported by Hollow Knight Wiki contributors; the page excerpt does not establish a publication year. A third-party guide recommends controlled ground slashes, but does not provide comparative testing proving that this is optimal. Use short, deliberate swings and adjust your position when a flea falls outside your reach.
Flea Dodge: survive without losing the platform
Dodge awards one point for each second Hornet remains on a platform or airborne, according to the wiki. Touching the ground below or jumping too far to the side ends the run. Fleas can attack horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, while platforms may rise, lower, or disappear.

Prioritize staying over the safe platforms rather than maximizing distance. Watch the attack direction and platform movement, then make only the adjustment needed to avoid the next hazard. The third-party guide suggests minimal movement and keeping recovery options available; it does not establish a universally best Crest or tested survival route.
Flea Bounce: verify the target in your game
The festival includes Flea Bounce, but the cited wiki excerpt does not provide its full rules or leaderboard. As a result, an exact target score cannot be stated reliably here. Check the in-game instructions and score board before you start, and treat the displayed record as the relevant target for your current game.

The third-party guide suggests maintaining a rhythm with Needle-bounces or Clawlines. That is a strategy suggestion, not a verified optimal method. Focus on sustaining your bounce or grapple sequence, and use the controls and scoring feedback shown in game to determine which actions count.

The wiki says beating the fleas’ highest scores in all three games opens a piñata reward sequence. It reports Rosaries and Shell Shards on each of the first nine strikes, followed by a Pale Oil on the tenth. The listed amounts are 15–41 Rosaries and 5–8 Shell Shards per strike for those first nine hits. The reference also says currencies left on the ground disappear after collecting the Pale Oil, which completes the Ecstasy of the End wish.
After Seth moves to Fleatopia, beating all of his high scores is reported to award the Guardian’s Memento. These reward details are community-wiki information, not official patch documentation; check the in-game reward sequence if the mechanics or quantities differ in your version.
