Its first confirmed chapter, The Avengers, ran from April 30 to May 28, 2026, and is over. A separate Endgame Encore store promotion ran in August and September and has also ended. Although NetEase announced further roadmap chapters, the available October 8 information does not confirm the October chapter’s dates, mode, or rewards.
What is the Marvel Rivals Avengers crossover event?
Path to Doomsday is the name NetEase used for a multi-chapter 2026 plan tied to the Avengers and the lead-up to Avengers: Doomsday. Its March 4 announcement outlined film-themed events and new modes planned for April, June, August, and October, plus a December mode timed to the film. The first chapter documented in event-specific patch notes was Path to Doomsday: The Avengers. The April dates and activity details come from the April 29 patch notes. The later promotion and its coupon terms were announced on the official Marvel Rivals Discord on August 26. Both windows had ended by October 8, 2026.

How did Path to Doomsday: The Avengers work?
Choose a side in the limited-time mode
During the mode’s April 30–May 28 UTC window, players chose between the Avengers and Loki. The patch notes establish the limited-time team choice, but do not provide further mechanics here; do not assume details from another chapter apply.
Visit Times Square for the card and Units activities
- Gallery Card: Watch a continuous two-minute screening of Marvel Studios’ The Avengers to unlock the Gallery Card: The Avengers. The screening remained available until May 29 at 03:00 UTC, three hours later than the photo activity ended.
- 100 Units: Take a group photo at the Avengers’ Gift Shop photo walls during the April 30–May 28 UTC photo-op period.
These activities and their stated rewards are in the official patch notes. Their event windows are past; the notes do not establish that these rewards remain obtainable afterward.

Separate event rewards from store listings
The patch notes also listed Iron Man and Loki Avengers bundles, Elsa Bloodstone’s Bloody Butler bundle and related cosmetics, Loki’s “Kneel!” emote, Captain America’s “Avengers Assemble!” emote, Adam Warlock Ultimate Ability VFX, and an Original Avengers team lobby. What was Endgame Encore?
Endgame Encore was a separate store promotion connected to the theatrical re-release of Avengers: Endgame, not the April Avengers-versus-Loki mode. The August 26 announcement said all players would receive an Encore Coupon for 20% off in the Infinity Saga store tab, with another coupon after eligible purchases. What is known about the October chapter?
NetEase’s March roadmap included an October event, and the official news index displayed an October 1 patch entry when accessed on October 8. The sources establish neither the October crossover’s exact dates nor its mode, rewards, or store items. The roadmap alone is not enough to confirm those specifics. NetEase’s March announcement showed Marvel Rivals-themed merchandise at Marvel Assemble, including a Jeff the Land Shark plush, and also mentioned Hot Toys Marvel Rivals Cosbi Collection items and LEGO Ravager Jumpsuit Groot. These are physical products, not requirements for taking part in an in-game event.
