Does Marvel Rivals have a PvE mode?
Yes. Blood Hunt is the PvE mode documented as active in the official notes available on October 7, 2026. NetEase describes it as a vampire hunt: assemble a superhero squad and eradicate vampires. The July 2026 update extended the mode through October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC, so that was its scheduled end time at the snapshot—not a guarantee that it remained playable afterward. NetEase’s Blood Hunt announcement and update provide the mode and event details.
How do matchmaking and teams work in Blood Hunt?
The official Blood Hunt announcement does not specify a queue flow or exact team size. It does not establish whether you can queue solo, invite friends, or have the game fill empty slots. “Assemble your Super Hero squad” describes the mode at a high level; it is not evidence of a particular player count or matchmaking feature. Check the in-game event or mode screen for the available party and queue options while Blood Hunt is live.
What do you do in Blood Hunt?
Hunt vampires and build your heroes
The documented high-level objective is to eradicate vampires. The July update also describes ways to strengthen heroes: enhance existing gear for higher stat bonuses, refine specific stats, and collect Dew of Insight, which grants a burst of EX to a hero you choose. The published details do not give a complete encounter-by-encounter route, boss guide, or full set of victory conditions.

Take on Nightmare floors
Nightmare difficulty is documented up to Floor 300. The update also offered a one-time reward of 100 Units per hero for clearing Floor 260 with that hero; the reward could be claimed once for each hero. What happened to Marvel Zombies and other PvE events?
Marvel Zombies
Marvel Zombies was a separate, timed PvE event, announced for October 23 through November 14, 2025. The launch notes said the mode would not be supported on PS4 because of performance limitations. That original event window does not establish that Marvel Zombies is available in October 2026, and the announcement does not specify its matchmaking flow or team size. Path to Doomsday: The Avengers
The Avengers chapter of Path to Doomsday was a separate crossover event featuring an Avengers-versus-Loki showdown. Its announced run was April 30 through May 28, 2026, which had ended by October 7. The announcement does not provide a fixed team size or matchmaking rules. See the official event announcement.

No. Doom Match is PvP, not a co-op vampire hunt. NetEase described it as a knockout mode for 8 to 12 players divided among hostile factions. Players score by knocking out opponents, and the top half are the default winners. Its player count does not tell you how many people can join Blood Hunt. Read NetEase’s Doom Match announcement.
