Marvel Rivals announced 10 costume sets for its Season 1 Luxury Battle Pass, alongside a first-half balance update mixing buffs, nerfs, and adjustments that cut both ways. The season began January 10, 2025; the figures below describe the launch-period announcement and are not a statement of the game’s current balance or Battle Pass availability.
What was in the Season 1 Battle Pass?
NetEase announced 10 costume sets for the Season 1 Luxury Battle Pass, accompanied by related sprays and emotes. The official announcement and patch notes establish the number of sets, but their accessible text does not provide an individual skin-name roster, so it would be misleading to present one here.
The January 7, 2025 announcement described the pass as containing over twice the content of the Season 0 pass. Its announced price was 990 Lattice; completing it returned 600 Lattice and 600 Units. Those were the terms announced for Season 1 in January 2025, not confirmation that the pass remains available to buy.
NetEase also said Luxury Battle Passes would never expire and that Lattice-purchased Chrono Tokens would be retained under specified conditions. For the qualifications, see the Season 1 announcement and its reference to Dev Talk 09.

Which Season 1 balance changes were confirmed?
The Marvel Rivals development team’s January 9 balance post covered adjustments planned for the first half of Season 1. It said Season 0 battle data showed varied lineups in regular matches, but double-shield and ranged compositions were strong at higher skill levels. The team’s stated aim was to broaden the viable roster; that rationale does not establish that the update achieved the intended competitive result.

The development team described its goal this way: “Hence, in the first half of Season 1, we are set to make balance adjustments to certain heroes, enabling a broader roster to partake in more intricate gameplay, ensuring a richer, more engaging, and diverse gaming experience for all.” Its balance post also said it would not make extensive Team-Up changes in Season 1, citing the season’s short duration and players’ recent acclimatization to the game. Both statements express the team’s intent and plan, not proof of a measured outcome.

A simple buff-versus-nerf tally misses the mixed adjustments: Captain America gained health and a shorter cooldown but also had part of his ultimate’s benefit reduced, while Wolverine gained health as his damage reduction fell. The concrete differences are the ability values and mechanics listed above; the official post does not establish resulting win-rate changes or a new competitive meta.
