Was Jean Grey confirmed for Season 3?
Yes. The official announcement confirmed Jean Grey as Phoenix, a playable Duelist aligned with the Phoenix Force. The leak framing is therefore outdated: the publisher’s announcement is confirmation, not evidence about when or how an earlier leak circulated. The announcement describes Jean as an original X-Men member who became host to the Phoenix Force.

When did Blade join Marvel Rivals?
Blade was announced for the latter half of Season 3, rather than the July 11 launch. He arrived with Season 3.5, whose update began on August 8, 2025 at 09:00 UTC. The Season 3.5 patch notes list Blade as a new hero and also cover character lore, the Queen’s Codex limited-time event, system additions, store bundles, and competitive adjustments.

How often were seasons supposed to launch?
