They stated: “The update begins on October 10th, 2025, at 09:00:00 (UTC), with estimated maintenance lasting 2 hours.” The official Dev Vision announcement, published September 30, also said the season would begin October 10 UTC.

Daredevil and new story content
Daredevil joined the roster, accompanied by new character lore titled “The Long Road Back.” These were the headline playable-character and story additions announced for the update.
Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun event
The Jade Scrolls event offered missions with rewards that included the Storm – Judicator XieZhi costume for free, plus opportunities to earn Spider-Man – Black & Gold, Psylocke – Fleeting Butterfly, and other items. These were event rewards announced for Season 4.5, not a statement that they can still be claimed.

- Twitch Drops: Announced rewards included the Mister Fantastic – Will of Galacta costume and related bundle content, along with tournament-specific Drops.
The store and Drops items were time-limited announcements; the patch notes do not establish their present-day availability.
Faction rules and ranked rewards
The update described clearing factions that met its inactivity conditions, with an exception for factions with historical MRC256 or higher, and a Revive Faction feature.
