What arrived at the Season 4 launch?
Angela and the season’s story
Angela joined the roster when Season 4 launched. NetEase’s official Season 4 patch notes introduced the season as Heart of the Dragon and tied its story to K’un-Lun.
Battle Pass and event
The launch update added the Fruit of Immortality Battle Pass, which included 10 costume sets, and the Scroll of the Immortal Beasts event. These were part of the September 12 launch package, distinct from the later Summer Special event.

Arcade additions
The patch notes made the listed Arcade modes permanent. They describe six entries, including two distinct Conquest listings; the modes should not be collapsed into one:
- New Conquest (Annihilation)
- New Free Fight
- Returning Clone Rumble
- Returning Giant-Size Brain Blast
- Existing Conquest
- Existing Doom Match
Free Fight used Quick Match modes, allowed duplicate heroes, and gave each team two hero bans.

Rank reset and settlement rewards
At the reset, players were demoted seven divisions based on their final Season 3.5 rank; the patch notes give Diamond I to Gold II as an example. Settlement rewards included an Angela costume at Gold, with additional frames and crests at higher ranks.
Summer Special Vol. 2: dates and rewards
The event’s official name was Summer Special Vol. 2, not “Swimsuit Special Vol. 2,” a shorthand used in some coverage. The official event announcement scheduled it from September 18, 2025, at 09:00 UTC through October 17.

When did the new map and Season 4.5 arrive?
The roadmap report placed K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven on September 26, 2025. A later official update confirms the map’s identity and that it is a Convergence map, but does not independently establish that roadmap date. Season 4.5 was listed for October 10; NetEase’s October 15, 2025 Dev Vision says the season began October 10 UTC. Daredevil was among the content listed for that mid-season milestone in the reported roadmap.
