Marvel Rivals Season 7 began on March 20, 2026, with White Fox, the Tablet of Life and Time Battle Pass, new in-game systems and events, and competitive changes. Lower Manhattan arrived in the April 2 update, and the Season 7.5 update began April 17. These dates are historical: by October 8, 2026, Marvel Rivals had moved into its Season 9 era.

What arrived at the Season 7 launch?
White Fox joined the roster
The new hero announced for launch was White Fox, whose civilian name is Ami Han. The official notes describe her as a South Korean Kumiho super-spy. Season 7 also added the serial “The Hunt is On,” White Fox lore “Shards of Hope,” and Captain America lore “Real Power.”
Tablet of Life and Time Battle Pass
The Battle Pass was announced with 10 new costume sets. The official notes named Hela, Peni Parker, and Luna Snow among the featured costumes. The notes establish the number of sets and some featured characters, but not a single price or identical availability terms for every cosmetic.

Album, basketball, and a Peter Parker event
- Album: A system for capturing, saving, and sharing in-game moments.
- Basketball challenge: Players could take on the challenge in Times Square or the Practice Range.
- Dual Life of Peter Parker: A mission path offered a free Deadpool – Wade Wilson: The Spirit Guard uniform. This was a Season 7 event reward, not a promise that it remains obtainable.
What changed in competitive play and esports?
Competitive adjustments
- Placement matches added individual performance tracking.
- Each team received three hero bans instead of two, while the ban round was shortened from 20 seconds to 15.
- Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya returned to the competitive map rotation.
- Reaching Gold rank or higher offered a White Fox costume reward.
In-game esports hub
The announced hub was designed to bring global tournament details into the game, including live match viewing, replays and highlights, schedules, rules, standings, and team information. The notes cautioned that some replays could expire. The Ignite Preseason was slated to start March 27, 2026.
When did Lower Manhattan release?
Lower Manhattan was announced for the April 2, 2026 update. The date is supported both by NetEase’s announcement and by the official patch notes published for April 2, which confirm the map in that update. It was not part of the March 20 launch itself.

Was the full weekly roadmap confirmed?
Not in the accessible official text. NetEase’s March 17 Dev Vision post confirmed that a season preview video was available, but its page text did not reproduce the full roadmap schedule. The dated milestones above are supported by official notes or publisher announcements; additional week-by-week entries reported elsewhere should not be treated as confirmed official dates based on that text alone. The available official source is Dev Vision Vol. 15.
