That is a historical release announcement, not confirmation that the costume is available in the store today.
What Marvel Rivals announced
The announcement was for a Spider-Man costume called Spider-Punk 2099—not a separate Spider-Punk character. On March 19, 2025, the official Marvel Rivals account promoted it with the line, “Unleash the Spider-Punk within you!” Its accompanying flavor text riffed on punk’s guitars and synths, ending: “Wish Hobie could see this…” (Marvel Rivals Official on Bluesky.)
Insider Gaming’s report published that day said the costume was scheduled to debut in the store on March 20, 2025, at 2:00 UTC. That date and time describe the planned debut reported at the time; they do not establish the costume’s current store status.
What the reported bundle included
Insider Gaming described guitar riffs and licks accompanying Spider-Man’s attacks and abilities, as well as a suit-specific emote and MVP screen. The report said a spray and player card would “likely” be included, so those two items were not confirmed in that account.

What was reported about the price
Insider Gaming reported a bundle price of 2,200 units, attributing the figure to insider Miller Ross. This is a historical, secondhand price report from March 19, 2025—not a verified current price. The article does not establish what the costume costs, if anything, in the store now. (Insider Gaming, March 19, 2025.)
What later patch notes say about access
Marvel Rivals’ Season 4 patch notes, published September 4, 2025, later listed “Spider-Man – Spider-Punk 2099” among College Perk costumes. The notes confirm that the costume was subsequently mentioned in that context, but do not specify current availability, who qualifies for a College Perk, or whether the costume can currently be purchased in the store.
