The “two days left” Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops opportunity was a 2024 promotion, not an active route into the game’s beta. NetEase’s Closed Beta Test ran from July 23, 2024, at 22:00 UTC to August 5, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, and the cited Twitch Drops rounds have ended. Historical keys were valid only during the test, so they cannot now be used to join it.
How the third Twitch Drops round worked
NetEase’s third-round announcement set the Drops window for August 1–3, 2024, from 00:00 UTC on August 1 until 00:00 UTC on August 3. To pursue a key in that round, players had to connect Twitch on the official Marvel Rivals Drops page, watch at least 60 minutes of a live stream in the Marvel Rivals category with Drops enabled, then claim and redeem a key for their chosen platform.
- Connect the Twitch account on the official Marvel Rivals Drops page.
- Watch an eligible live stream in the Marvel Rivals category for at least 60 minutes.
- Claim the earned Drop, then redeem the key for the intended platform.
One key could be claimed per Twitch account. PS5 keys were region-specific and could not be redeemed across regions, so the platform and region mattered when choosing a key.
Two details applied specifically to this third round: watch time completed in the first or second round could still be redeemed, and a player who completed the watch task after that day’s codes ran out did not have to repeat the task the following day.

There were multiple Drops windows
The July 25–28, 2024 window was a separate earlier round, not the third-round window. NetEase’s FAQ lists it as July 25 at 00:00 UTC to July 28 at 00:00 UTC; the third-round announcement gives August 1 at 00:00 UTC to August 3 at 00:00 UTC. These dates refer to different 2024 campaigns and should not be combined into one schedule.
NetEase’s July 11, 2024 announcement also described the earlier Drops period and said Steam Playtest sign-up opened July 20, while console sign-up concluded July 16. Those sign-up dates were part of the lead-up to the same 2024 Closed Beta, not current opportunities.

Other ways players could qualify for the 2024 beta
NetEase’s Closed Beta FAQ listed several historical access routes. Some relied on selection; Twitch Drops depended on completing the viewing task and claiming an available key.
- Request access through the Steam Playtest page.
- Apply through the console questionnaire and await selection.
- Receive an extra activation code from a qualified friend after that friend completed in-game quests.
- Earn a key through Twitch Drops.
- Enter official social media or Discord community events.
- Players who reached level 10 during the Alpha automatically qualified for the CBT on Steam when using the same account.
What the beta included and what happened to its data
The Closed Beta FAQ listed Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 as supported platforms, with North America, Europe, and Asia among its regions. Cross-platform matchmaking was available, but Competitive mode did not match PC players with console players. A constant internet connection was required, and PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass was not required to participate.

The test was unpaid, and account data was to be erased at its end. NetEase said exclusive rewards earned during the CBT could be used after official launch if players used the same account. Beta keys, however, were valid only during the CBT; they are not a way to access the closed test today.
