Its central addition is Horde, a mechanic that builds a Zombie Horde as you play, alongside new cards, locations, and scheduled limited-time modes. The official season announcement documents an active season—not a separate game relaunch.
What’s new in the Undead Horde season?
The official Undead Horde season announcement, dated October 2, 2026, introduces Horde. Playing a card with Horde gives Power to your Zombie Horde. If you do not have a Zombie Horde in play, the game creates one at another location first. The announcement introduces the mechanic with the line, “The dead are rising and they’ve brought a brand new Keyword Mechanic along with them.”
The season also adds zombie-themed cards and locations, and schedules the return of limited-time modes. The official announcements index lists the season post alongside earlier 2026 game updates.
Which new cards are listed?
The season announcement identifies these cards and release details:

What do the new locations do?
- The Deadlands: Horde increases by 1 at the end of each turn.
- Survivors’ Camp: After turn 4, draw a card if you are winning there; otherwise, Horde increases by 2.
The effects above are as described in the season announcement. Location availability and live game text can change.

When do the limited-time modes run?

These are dates and terms announced for the season; event schedules can be time-sensitive. The 800 Gold amount is an in-game currency price, not a cash price or conversion.

The announcement says that buying either the Premium or Super Premium Season Pass through the official web shop during the season includes a Collector’s Series 5 SNAP PACK and an Arnim Zola – Nightforged Variant. Upgrading a pass through the web shop does not trigger that bonus. The announcement does not provide the season-pass tier prices or enough information to judge which tier offers better overall value.
