What Marvel confirmed about Zodiac
GamesRadar+ reported that Winderbaum, Marvel’s Head of Streaming, Television and Animation, announced the series during the New York Comic Con television and animation panel. The series is reported to be coming to Disney+ in 2028. No month or day has been announced, so 2028 is the only confirmed release window in the event coverage.
What was said about casting
Winderbaum said casting would begin “in the next couple of weeks,” speaking at the October 8 announcement. That was a statement about the planned casting process, not a cast announcement. GamesRadar+ did not name any actors or show creatives beyond Winderbaum.

Is the series based on the Marvel Comics Zodiac?
A direct comics adaptation has not been confirmed in the GamesRadar+ coverage. The report discusses a prominent Marvel Comics Zodiac: a masked villain who debuted in the 2009 Dark Reign event and later confronted Moon Knight. Its mention of that character is background, not evidence that the series adapts the villain, Dark Reign, Moon Knight, or a particular comic storyline.
Winderbaum also said there was “a lot hidden” in the series logo for comic fans. GamesRadar+ interpreted some details as possible SHIELD and Iron Man references, but those are the outlet’s interpretations; they do not confirm that either will appear in the story.
