The character-specific casting announcement was made at New York Comic Con in October 2025, when the official franchise account welcomed Fox as “the voice of Toy Chica,” as reported by GameSpot.
When was Megan Fox announced as Toy Chica?
The announcement came during the October 2025 New York Comic Con event. GameSpot reproduced a post from the official Five Nights at Freddy’s account dated October 11, 2025: “Let’s party! Welcome Megan Fox as the voice of Toy Chica.” Macabre Daily also attributed the announcement to director Emma Tammi during the Blumhouse NYCC session.
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment later confirmed Fox was among the performers voicing the sequel’s new animatronics, but its release announcement did not identify her character. The Associated Press review of the released film says Fox provides Chica’s voice, without specifying Toy Chica. The character-specific identification therefore comes from the October announcement.
Is Megan Fox in the film as a live-action character?
Fox is credited as a voice performer for Toy Chica, an animatronic character; the cited announcements do not identify her as an onscreen human character. Her casting is part of the sequel’s expanded roster of animatronic voices.

Universal’s later home-release announcement named Fox, Patrick, and Goff as voices of new animatronics, but did not map each performer to a character.
