MEmu 9.3.3 is an official archived Windows release of the MEmu Android emulator. It was released on February 25, 2026, and remains available through MEmu’s official release archive. It is not the newest version: MEmu’s homepage displayed version 9.5.5.1, dated July 10, 2026, on the latest available check. Use 9.3.3 when you need compatibility with an older game, application, automation workflow, or controlled deployment; otherwise, MEmu recommends using its latest release.

Safe download checklist
- Open the archive from the
memuplay.comdomain. - Follow the 9.3.3 link supplied by MEmu.
- Confirm that any redirect began from the official MEmu page.
- Scan the downloaded file before running it.
- Inspect the file’s publisher and digital signature in Windows.
- Stop if the file has been renamed, repacked, or obtained from an unrelated mirror.
Do not disable antivirus protection simply because an installer is described as an offline package. A detection should be investigated; it should not be ignored automatically.
What changed in MEmu 9.3.3?
MEmu’s official notes describe a small maintenance release rather than a major feature overhaul:
| Area | Change |
|---|---|
| Fixed | Resolved an issue that could cause the emulator to fail to start in some cases. |
| Optimized | Long-pressing a desktop icon now includes a Create PC Shortcut option. |
| Added | An optional tap-trace display feature is available in Settings for operation recording. |
The release is most relevant to users who need its specific startup behavior or recording and automation conveniences. It should not be treated as a broad performance upgrade or guaranteed fix for every MEmu startup problem.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWhat “offline installer” means
An offline installer is intended to contain the main installation payload locally, rather than downloading the principal components during setup. This is useful when a web installer cannot download successfully or when MEmu must be deployed on a machine with limited internet access.
It does not necessarily make the entire MEmu experience offline. You may still need an internet connection to sign in to Google Play, download games, obtain additional Android instance images, use online services, or install updates. APK installation can reduce dependence on Google Play, but APKs should come only from sources you trust.
MEmu’s site exposes an Offline Installer entry, while the archived 9.3.3 page currently presents a linked mirror. Do not assume that every package described online as “offline” includes every Android image or optional component.
System requirements
The following are MEmu’s currently published requirements. They are useful guidance, but they are not a version-specific benchmark for 9.3.3.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Minimum requirements
- CPU: 2-core x86 or x86-64 Intel or AMD processor.
- Operating system: Windows 7 or later.
- Graphics: current Windows DirectX 11 or graphics drivers and OpenGL 2.0.
- Virtualization: Intel VT-x or AMD-V enabled in BIOS or UEFI firmware.
- Memory: 2 GB RAM, or 4 GB for a 64-bit system.
- Storage: 5 GB of free disk space.
Recommended requirements
- Windows 10 with hardware virtualization enabled.
- An Intel or AMD processor with a single-thread PassMark score above 1,500.
- A GPU PassMark score above 750.
- DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.5 or later.
- At least 8 GB of RAM.
- An SSD and 10 GB of free space.
- Broadband internet with low latency for FPS games.
The minimum figures are not a practical ceiling. The emulator, each Android virtual device, installed games, app data, snapshots, recordings, and caches all consume storage. Multiple instances also need additional RAM and CPU capacity. A third-party MEmu installation guide gives workload-specific estimates of about 1 GB for the emulator and at least 2 GB per simultaneously running thread or system image, but those figures should not be treated as universal MEmu requirements.
MEmu currently states that it does not offer native Mac or Linux versions and does not recommend running the emulator inside another virtual machine. 9.3.3 is therefore intended for a supported Windows host, not for macOS, Linux, or nested virtualization as a normal setup.
How to install MEmu 9.3.3
- Download the archive package. Use MEmu’s official archive and save the installer before launching it.
- Scan the file. Run your normal antivirus scan and inspect the file’s Windows publisher or digital signature if present. The official release page does not visibly provide a checksum for this package.
- Start setup. Run the installer. If Windows blocks setup because of permissions, use the administrator account or choose Run as administrator.
- Choose the destination. Select a drive with room for the base installation and future Android instances. Some installer builds expose a Custom option for changing the path, although labels can vary.
- Complete installation. An installer may show a button such as Quick Install; wording can differ between builds.
- Launch MEmu. Create or open an Android instance through Multi-MEmu after the main program starts.
- Install applications. Use Google Play when available, or install a trustworthy APK through MEmu’s APK-installation tools.
Before changing or replacing an existing MEmu installation, back up important virtual devices and app data. Installing an older release over a newer release can alter, replace, or invalidate existing instance data, and uninstalling MEmu does not guarantee that virtual devices will survive.

Android versions and instance types
The available Android environment depends on the instance images offered by the 9.3.3 build and on what is installed or downloaded through Multi-MEmu. The retrieved official 9.3.3 release note does not provide a complete Android-version matrix.

Troubleshooting MEmu 9.3.3
The installer will not start
- Redownload the package from the official archive; an incomplete download can fail before setup begins.
- Check available disk space and Windows permissions.
- Review Windows Security or other antivirus quarantine records.
- Read any SmartScreen warning and verify the file’s source and publisher before deciding whether to proceed.
- Do not disable security software as a first-line fix.
MEmu is stuck at 59% or 99%
MEmu identifies startup failures at 59/99% as a support topic. Work through these checks in order:
- Confirm that Intel VT-x or AMD-V is enabled in BIOS or UEFI.
- Reboot Windows after changing the virtualization setting.
- Update the graphics driver.
- Make sure Windows and relevant DirectX components are current.
- Check for conflicting virtualization or hypervisor software where appropriate.
- Do not run MEmu inside another virtual machine.
- Try a fresh emulator instance to distinguish damaged instance data from a host-wide problem.
- Reduce the instance’s allocated CPU cores and RAM if the host is resource-constrained.
- Back up important instances before repairing or reinstalling.
No single Windows virtualization setting is guaranteed to fix every 59% or 99% failure. The cause can depend on the processor, Windows configuration, graphics stack, instance type, and available resources.
The emulator boots slowly or performs poorly
Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee smooth gameplay. Close unnecessary applications, use an SSD where possible, leave adequate free space, and avoid running more instances than the host can support. Hardware virtualization, 8 GB or more RAM, and stronger graphics hardware are closer to MEmu’s recommended configuration than its bare minimum.
Google Play does not work
Check the internet connection, Google account status, and the compatibility of the selected Android instance. App availability can also vary by region. If Google Play is unsuitable for the workflow, APK installation is an alternative, provided the APK comes from a trustworthy source.
Existing instances disappear after a downgrade
Stop and back up important instances before installing 9.3.3. Do not assume that an older build can safely open every instance created by a newer build. For compatibility testing, a separate installation path or test machine is safer when the particular MEmu build permits it, but side-by-side installation is not guaranteed to work cleanly for every version.
Should you install 9.3.3 or the latest MEmu?
| Choose MEmu 9.3.3 when… | Choose the latest release when… |
|---|---|
| A particular game or app worked on 9.3.3 but fails on a newer build. | You are installing MEmu for the first time without a compatibility constraint. |
| An automation workflow was built and validated against 9.3.3. | You want current bug fixes, compatibility improvements, or newer Android images. |
| You need to reproduce an older controlled environment. | Current game support and ongoing maintenance matter more than reproducibility. |
MEmu’s archive recommends the latest release for a better experience. That makes 9.3.3 a compatibility choice, not the default recommendation for a new installation.
Alternatives
If MEmu 9.3.3 does not provide the Android image or Windows virtualization compatibility you need, consider a different emulator. Android Studio’s Emulator is better suited to official Android development and API testing. BlueStacks and LDPlayer are other gaming-oriented Windows options, but their compatibility and resource use should be checked for the specific game. Users requiring native macOS or Linux support should look for an emulator that officially supports those operating systems.

Verdict
MEmu 9.3.3 is a genuine, officially released Windows emulator version and can still be downloaded from MEmu’s historical archive. Its three documented changes focus on startup reliability, desktop shortcuts, and tap traces. It is reasonable for a known compatibility or reproducibility need, but it is older than the current MEmu release. Download it only through the official archive, verify the file as far as the available signature or hash permits, and back up existing instances before installing or downgrading.
