They included store credit, retailer gift cards and a Quest 3S bundle with extras; they are not evidence of 2026 prices or availability. Best Buy Canada’s category page says its Cyber Monday sale returns in December 2026, but does not specify a Quest deal. What the December 2024 Quest promotions offered
Android Central’s article, last updated December 2, 2024, described replacement promotions after earlier Best Buy and Amazon offers had ended as of December 1. The amounts below are historical figures from that report, not current offers.
| Retailer or offer | Headset and reported price | Reported incentive |
|---|---|---|
| Meta store promotion | Qualifying headset purchase; model and price not stated in the source | $60 in Meta gift-card credit |
| Newegg | Quest 3, $499 | $25 Newegg gift card |
| Newegg | Quest 3S, $299 | $10 Newegg gift card |
| Costco | Quest 3S, 256GB, $325 | Carrying case, Batman, and three months of Meta Quest Plus |
The same article reported a 40% discount on eligible games with code BFCM24, which ended December 2, 2024. Neither that code nor the headset incentives should be treated as active now. Read Android Central’s historical deal report.
Why “free stuff” came with conditions
The gift cards and bundle extras were attached to qualifying purchases; they were not unconditional giveaways. A gift card also differs from a lower headset price: it has value only if its retailer, redemption rules and expiry suit the buyer. A bundle’s headline price likewise does not tell the whole story without checking the exact model, storage, included items, membership or shipping requirements, and promotion end date.

How to assess a live Quest Cyber Monday deal
- Confirm the country, retailer, exact headset model and storage capacity on the current listing.
- Compare the total price with the value and restrictions of any gift card, game, subscription trial or accessory.
- Check whether membership, shipping or another purchase is required, and note the offer’s end date and stock status.
- For a carrying case or other accessory, verify that it fits the specific Quest model being purchased.
These checks matter because a Quest 3, Quest 3S and a bundle containing digital extras are not interchangeable offers just because they appear in the same seasonal sale.

What is known about the next Cyber Monday season
As of October 8, 2026, the cited Best Buy Canada category page says its Cyber Monday sale returns in December 2026, but it does not establish a specific Meta Quest price, bundle, or stock position. Treat it as a notice about the sale period, not confirmation that a particular headset offer is available. Verify the live listing, region, terms and end date before purchase.
