Before changing settings, record whether METAL EDEN crashes before opening, during loading, or while you are playing. Write down the exact error message if one appears. This is practical information to give support; PLAION’s listed resources do not provide a crash-specific diagnostic tree.
Compare your PC with the published requirements
PLAION lists separate minimum and recommended configurations for METAL EDEN. Both specify NVMe SSD storage, 16 GB of RAM, and DirectX 12. The performance targets below are PLAION’s stated targets, not a guarantee of crash-free operation.

These specifications are from PLAION’s METAL EDEN requirements—but use the exact source URL below: METAL EDEN. Check the actual drive where the game is installed, not just whether your PC has an NVMe drive elsewhere. The requirements establish a storage specification; they do not establish that upgrading to NVMe will fix a crash on a system that already meets the requirements.

Compare your operating system, processor, graphics card, memory, available space, and game-drive type against the relevant column. Falling below a listed specification is a reason to investigate compatibility, not proof that it caused a particular crash. PLAION does not publish upgrade priorities for individual crash cases, so avoid assuming that a new GPU or other component will resolve the problem.
Try the official PC Steam troubleshooting options
PLAION’s support index lists PC (Steam) technical troubleshooting topics that include updating the game, updating drivers, and clearing the Steam cache. Consult the current articles there and follow the steps relevant to your situation. The index presents these as support options; it does not say any one step fixes every crash.

Find them through PLAION Support: open the METAL EDEN support area, choose Technical Troubleshooting, then the PC (Steam) section. Steam’s technical-issue support page for METAL EDEN also identifies the official support provider and links to system requirements and community discussions.
Contact PLAION if the crash continues
If the official troubleshooting pages do not cover your error, or the crash persists, use the support-ticket route in the PLAION Support portal. Include when the crash occurs, the exact error text, and how your PC compares with the published requirements. Those details help describe the issue; they are not an official requirement for submitting a ticket.

What is established—and what is not
METAL EDEN released on September 2, 2025. Steam identifies Reikon Games as developer and Deep Silver as publisher. The available official information gives system requirements and general troubleshooting routes, but does not establish a universal crash cause, a crash-rate statistic, or a verified crash-specific fix. No particular update, cache clear, reinstall, or hardware purchase should be presented as a proven remedy on that basis.
