SEGA says the main game will ask whether you want to carry over your demo save, preserving the same story and character status. The main catch is platform compatibility: Xbox and Microsoft Store on PC support cross-save, but PS4 and PS5 saves cannot be transferred between those platforms.
What carries over from the Prologue Demo?
SEGA’s FAQ confirms that you can carry your demo save into the main game. When you start the full game, it prompts you to choose whether to carry over the save. SEGA describes the continuation as keeping the same story and character status, but does not publish a field-by-field list of transferred progress.

That means the official information does not establish whether every item, quest, or individual story flag transfers. It also does not specify the demo’s exact endpoint or how many hours it takes to reach it. SEGA calls the Prologue Demo “the beginning of the full version.” SEGA’s FAQ was updated October 7, 2024.
