The Minecraft Championship event that offered an official MCC Cape was the 2024 MCC x Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party, a time-limited Bedrock Edition server event. Players could try four MCC-inspired mini-games and complete 15 challenges to unlock the MC Championship Character Creator Cape. The separate Ender Cup was a streamer tournament, not the public Party.
What was the Minecraft Championship event with the official MCC Cape?
Minecraft and Noxcrew’s collaboration marked Minecraft’s 15th anniversary. Minecraft announced the partnership on May 27, 2024, describing plans for a special edition MC Championship and an in-game event in Bedrock Edition (Minecraft’s announcement).
The public Party ran from July 22 at 10 a.m. Pacific time through August 4 at 3 p.m. Pacific time, 2024. It was a historical, limited-time event; that advertised window has ended. Minecraft’s July 16 event announcement covered both the Party and the separate Ender Cup.
What could players do in the Bedrock Party?
During the event window, players entered the Party server from Minecraft: Bedrock Edition’s main screen. Its four MCC-inspired mini-games were:

Players could take on activities and challenges for Character Creator items. Completing 15 challenges unlocked the official MC Championship Character Creator Cape, according to Minecraft’s event announcement.
Noxcrew’s description for the MCC x Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party video said the cape was awarded instantly in Bedrock when unlocked during the event, then would transfer to a player’s linked Java account in the weeks afterward. That describes the announced 2024 reward behavior; it is not evidence of a current way to join the event or claim the cape.

How was the Ender Cup different from the public Party?
The Ender Cup was a scheduled streamer championship on July 27, 2024, rather than a two-week public Bedrock activity. Minecraft announced it for 6 p.m. BST / 1 p.m. EDT / 10 a.m. PDT, with 40 streamers competing across eight mini-games. The Party, by contrast, offered four mini-games for players joining its Bedrock server and challenge-based Character Creator rewards.
| Format | Who it was for | When and how long | Games | Outcome or reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15th Anniversary Party | Players joining the Bedrock server | July 22–August 4, 2024; limited-time event | Four MCC-inspired mini-games | Challenges awarded Character Creator items; 15 completed challenges unlocked the official cape |
| Ender Cup | Streamers competing, with viewers following the tournament | July 27, 2024, at 6 p.m. BST / 1 p.m. EDT / 10 a.m. PDT; scheduled tournament | Eight mini-games | A streamer championship |
How does the Party relate to regular MC Championship events?
The anniversary Party borrowed MCC games but was not the same format as a recurring MC Championship tournament. MCC’s event page describes its general format as ten teams of four playing eight games, followed by a Dodgebolt matchup between the two highest-scoring teams. The four games in the public Party and the eight in the Ender Cup should not be conflated with that general format.

Can players still join the Party or earn its cape through it?
No: the advertised Party server window ended on August 4, 2024. The original challenge-based unlock was tied to that event. The official sources establish the announced 2024 transfer to a linked Java account, but do not establish a new event or current claim method for players who missed it.
