The 2025 Egg Hunt Program’s mystery missions award five stars apiece, while collecting five of its seven eggs earns 50 stars toward the 100-star reward path. The walkthrough below covers the riddles, mode requirements, egg tasks and a practical offline-first route. The program launched on April 18, 2025, but its availability on October 8, 2026, is unverified; check Diamond Dynasty in-game before planning around it.
Check the program and its mission list first
MLB.com’s Kansas City Royals announced on April 15, 2025, that the Egg Hunt would begin April 18 and involve tasks across game modes to collect Egg Hunt Series players. That announcement confirms the launch, not continued availability. See the Royals’ announcement.

The historical guides do not agree on the number of mystery missions: ShowZone lists eight solutions, while ShowDD describes ten missions but also gives eight numbered solutions. ShowZone separately reports nine Moments, which are not the same thing as mystery missions. Use the in-game program screen as the authority for the complete current list rather than assuming these eight clues exhaust it.

Both historical guides describe each mystery mission as worth five stars, but their mission counts conflict. The table reflects the eight detailed solutions shared in the guides, not a guarantee that the in-game program has no other clue.

Egg tasks: five of seven complete the collection
The Egg Hunt collection awards 50 stars for five eggs, so the two online eggs are optional if you earn five others. ShowDD’s guide gives these seven tasks:

| Yellow | Capture the Marlins and Rays strongholds on the Bunny Ears Conquest map. |
| Pink | Record 25 strikeouts in online games. |
| Orange | Get on base 25 times in online games. |
Efficient route, especially for offline players
- Complete the Egg Hunt Moments. ShowZone reports nine Moments worth 10 stars total; finishing them also earns the Purple Egg according to ShowDD.
- Complete the two Diamond Quest Stadium Challenges for the Green and Blue eggs.
- Play the Bunny Ears Conquest map and capture the Royals, Rockies, Marlins and Rays strongholds for the Red and Yellow eggs.
- Use eligible games to work on player-specific missions where practical. Check each mission’s mode restriction first; the guides place the Randy Johnson win and Mike Trout strikeout in any Diamond Dynasty mode, the low-speed double in Play vs. CPU, and the Vida Blue start in a Diamond Dynasty mode.
- In Mini Seasons, record two holds and a sacrifice play for Tax Season and Small Ball.
- Complete the six-hit Let’s Roll objective in a single Diamond Quest game, then submit the collection once you have five eggs. If you have the five offline eggs, you can skip the online Pink and Orange tasks.
Stars and reward-path figures
ShowZone’s April 18, 2025 guide describes a 100-star path, with nine Moments worth 10 stars total and the five-egg collection worth 50 stars. It reports 35,000 Season XP and eight Show Packs on the path. ShowDD’s guide reports different totals: 40,000 Season XP and six Show Packs. These are conflicting historical guide figures, not independently verified current in-game rewards; use the program screen for the active reward track.

ShowZone lists Joe Boyle at 10 stars, Logan O’Hoppe at 30, Riley Greene at 50 and Jazz Chisholm at 100. ShowDD also identifies Jazz Chisholm Jr. as the endpoint. Card details and rewards may depend on the program version shown in game.
