How to approach the comeback trophies
Three tasks require entering an inning while already behind, then getting a specified number of hits during that same inning. The thresholds are 3 for The Start of Something, 5 for Don’t Call it a Rally, and 7 for Rally Cap. Try for the highest threshold in a single qualifying inning if the game situation allows it; the descriptions do not establish whether meeting the highest threshold also unlocks the lower ones.
The listed conditions do not specify a required inning length or other setup details. Do not simulate these situations: each of the three descriptions expressly excludes simulated gameplay.

Which tasks require playing rather than simulating?
Several trophy descriptions explicitly exclude simulated gameplay. Play the relevant situation directly for these tasks:
- The three comeback hit thresholds: The Start of Something, Don’t Call it a Rally, and Rally Cap.
- GOAT MODE, A Robbery!, Down Low… Too Slow, Defensive Run Saved, and THE SHOW 2-6.
- Can of Corn, Patience is Golden, and Baseball is Better Together, whose listing also carries the exclusion note.
Online requirements by platform
The official game manual states: “An internet connection is required to play all Diamond Dynasty sub-modes.” For selected online activities, it lists these platform subscriptions:

The visible PS5 tasks span Road to the Show, Franchise, Diamond Quest, Negro League Storylines, co-op, and standard gameplay. Some are straightforward progression or participation goals; others require a specific game situation, such as a 2-6 out, a home-plate throw-out, or a home-run robbery. If you are pursuing the full list, keep the exact condition at hand and distinguish direct play from anything simulated.
