Fix 1: Identify the printer and reinstall its complete package

Identify the affected printer
- Open Settings.
- Select Bluetooth & devices.
- Select Printers & scanners.
- Review the installed printers.
- Open each likely Minolta or Konica Minolta device.
- Record the exact model name.
- Open Printer properties and check the driver name where available.
You can also inspect the driver list:
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
printmanagement.msc. - Press Enter.
- Expand Print Servers.
- Expand your computer.
- Select Drivers.
Some editions of Windows do not include Print Management. If it does not open, use Control Panel → Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and select Printer properties.
Check whether Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit
- Open Settings.
- Select System.
- Select About.
- Read System type.
Install a driver matching the Windows architecture and the printer model. Use the Add Printer Driver Wizard for old hardware
For an older printer that Windows detects but cannot install correctly:
- Open Control Panel.
- Select View devices and printers.
- Select any printer.
- Select Print server properties from the toolbar.
- Open the Drivers tab.
- Select Add.
- Follow the wizard.
- Select the target processor architecture.
- Choose the manufacturer and model, or select Have Disk for a complete official driver package.
- Complete the installation.
- Re-add the printer and print a test page.
The architecture selection matters. Installing an x86 package on an x64 system, or selecting the wrong model’s INF file, can produce loader errors even when a file named mn350620.dll exists on disk.

Fix 2: Restart the Print Spooler
The Print Spooler manages print jobs and loads printer-driver components. Restart it after reinstalling the driver or when jobs remain stuck.
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
services.msc. - Press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler.
- Right-click it.
- Select Restart.
If Restart is unavailable:
- Right-click Print Spooler.
- Select Properties.
- Set Startup type to Automatic.
- Select Start.
- Select Apply, then OK.
Test the printer again. If restarting the service immediately triggers the mn350620.dll message, the spooler is probably loading a broken or incompatible driver package.
For a deeper cleanup, stop the spooler before removing an obsolete driver:
- In Services, right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.
- Remove the printer from Printers & scanners.
- Open Print server properties → Drivers.
- Select the old Minolta driver.
- Select Remove.
- Choose Remove driver and driver package when offered.
- Restart the spooler.
- Reinstall the correct package.
Do not remove a driver that belongs to a printer you still need unless you have its replacement package ready.
Fix 3: Check Windows Security quarantine

- Open Windows Security.
- Select Virus & threat protection.
- Select Protection history.

Fix 4: Repair Windows components with DISM and SFC
Use this path when several Windows functions are failing, the error began after an interrupted update, or system files appear damaged. These commands may repair Windows components, but they do not guarantee repair of a third-party Minolta printer package.

- Open Start.
- Type
Command Prompt. - Right-click Command Prompt.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Run:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Wait for it to finish.
- Then run:
sfc /scannow
- Restart Windows.
- Reinstall the printer driver.
- Print a test page.
Run the commands in this order. DISM repairs the component source that SFC uses, while SFC checks protected Windows system files.
If DISM reports that it cannot complete, install pending Windows updates, restart, and run it again. If SFC reports that it found and repaired corrupt files, restart before testing. If both commands complete without finding a problem but the DLL error remains, return to the printer package rather than repeatedly running SFC.

Fix 5: Test a current or generic printer driver
A Vista-era PCL5e driver may simply be incompatible with the current Windows print stack. If the original printer package is no longer supported, test a driver designed for the exact device.
Possible fallback paths include:
- A current Konica Minolta model-specific driver
- A compatible Konica Minolta universal driver
- Windows’ built-in generic PCL5 or PCL6 driver
- A basic Windows class driver
The generic route may restore basic printing but can remove finishing, duplex, tray, color, or specialized page-description features. Compatibility depends on the exact printer.
To try a built-in driver:
- Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
- Select Add device.
- Select Add manually if the printer is not found.
- Choose the connection type.
- Select Windows Update in the manufacturer list if available.

- Complete installation.
- Print a basic test page.
If the generic driver works, the hardware and connection are probably functional. The remaining problem is likely the old Minolta package rather than Windows printing as a whole.

For a persistent error, collect evidence instead of copying files at random.
Check PrintService events
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
eventvwr.msc. - Press Enter.
- Expand Applications and Services Logs.
- Expand Microsoft.
- Expand Windows.
- Open PrintService.
- Review the Admin log.
Look for events recorded when the printer is added, when a job is submitted, or when the spooler restarts. The event may identify the driver name, package path, architecture, or failure stage.
Inspect the installed package
Use Print server properties → Drivers to check whether the Minolta driver is still registered. A file may exist in a driver directory while the package registration is broken. Conversely, the package may still reference mn350620.dll even though cleanup removed the file.

If printing worked until a driver update, Windows update, cleanup operation, or migration, System Restore may roll back the driver registration and system changes.
- Open Start.
- Type
Create a restore point. - Open the matching result.
- Select System Restore.
- Select Next.
- Choose a restore point from before the printer failure.
- Select Next, then Finish.
- Allow Windows to restart.
System Restore rolls back system files, settings, and installed programs without removing personal files. Afterward, verify the printer and install a current compatible driver if the old package remains unstable.
Do not use System Restore as a substitute for a driver package. It is a fallback when a recent change clearly caused the failure.
Why regsvr32 usually does not help
regsvr32 is intended for DLLs that expose registration entry points such as DllRegisterServer. Printer-driver DLLs are normally installed through an INF package and registered with the print subsystem.

It may produce an error saying the entry point was not found, or it may appear to succeed without repairing the printer. Do not use regsvr32 as a routine response to this filename. Reinstall the printer package through Windows or the manufacturer’s installer instead.

Do not copy the file into C:WindowsSystem32 or C:WindowsSysWOW64 as the primary repair. Those folders are not substitutes for installing a printer driver.
