Short answer: Supercell’s published mo.co material does not describe a button that randomly rerolls a weapon’s stats. The documented progression system uses Upgrade Cores: you equip a core for a specific effect, fuse lower-tier cores into higher tiers, and replace an equipped core only with a higher-tier Upgrade Core. Before spending anything, check your current beta client, because Supercell says Weapons and Cores are still being evaluated and may work differently in a future version.
What “weapon rerolling” means in mo.co
Players asking how to reroll a weapon are usually looking for one of two systems: a random-stat button that changes a weapon’s attributes, or a way to replace an unwanted bonus with a better one. The official mo.co release notes reviewed for this guide document neither of those as a weapon feature. They document Upgrade Cores instead.

An Upgrade Core adds a power-related effect to a weapon. The published notes state that cores can provide up to a 20% weapon power boost. They also describe several distinct effects, including damage, critical damage, attack speed, cooldown, healing, healing received, maximum health and dodge. In that documented system, improving gear means choosing an appropriate core and advancing its tier, not repeatedly paying for random weapon-stat results.

That distinction matters because a reroll-style strategy can consume resources without improving the build you actually play. If your live client contains a feature that is not described here, treat the in-game description as authoritative for that build and version. The available official documentation is not a guarantee about every later beta client.

Current beta status changes how much older advice is safe to follow
Supercell’s announcement that mo.co has returned to beta says the game is operating with low maintenance. It says new weapons will not be released in following seasons and that seasonal passes will not include a premium track or weapons. More importantly for progression planning, the announcement says non-cosmetic progress—including Weapons and Cores—remains under evaluation because a future version may use a different progression loop.
The team wrote: “We’ll only reset progress if absolutely necessary, as future versions of the game may have a very different progression loop.” The same announcement says the next update date had not been confirmed and that the team was aiming to launch it before the end of 2026. Its page displays “September 24” without a year in the body, so that date should not be treated as a dated release unless the page later adds the year.
Practically, this means an old guide can accurately describe the original core system and still be wrong about what you can earn today. Verify the current weapon and core screens, reward descriptions and replacement behavior before committing a rare core.
Is there a random weapon-stat reroll?
No random weapon-stat reroll is documented in the official material covered here. The documented actions are:
- Earn Upgrade Cores from the sources described in the release notes.
- Fuse cores into higher tiers.
- Equip a core to obtain its listed effect.
- Replace an equipped core only when you have a higher-tier Upgrade Core.
The notes do not describe paying a cost to randomize a weapon’s attributes, locking one stat while rerolling another, or selecting a new random weapon perk. That is a conclusion about the published documentation, not proof that no experimental beta build could ever contain a different feature. If a menu offers “reroll” in your client, read its cost, result and reset warning carefully; it would be a newer or variant mechanic than the one described in those notes.
How Upgrade Cores work
Core effects are separate build choices
The eight core types listed in the release notes cover different combat goals:

- COMPACT RESEALABLE PACKAGE: store your pack of Windex Gaming Wipes anywhere in your home for whenever a quick and easy wipedown is needed
| Core effect | What it supports |
|---|---|
| Damage | More direct offensive output |
| Critical damage | Greater payoff from critical hits |
| Attack speed | Faster weapon attacks |
| Cooldown | More frequent ability use |
| Healing | Stronger healing you provide |
| Healing received | More effective healing you receive |
| Maximum health | A larger health pool |
| Dodge | Improved avoidance-oriented play |
The list tells you the category of effect, not a universal ranking. A cooldown core can be more valuable than a damage core for an ability-heavy weapon, while maximum health or dodge can matter more when surviving a fight is the limiting factor. Confirm the exact percentage and wording shown by your current client instead of assuming every tier has the same value.
Fusion is tier progression, not stat randomization
Supercell’s release notes publish these conversion ratios:
| Lower-tier cores consumed | Result |
|---|---|
| 20 Semi-Charged cores | 1 Charged core |
| 10 Charged cores | 1 Overcharged core |
| 5 Overcharged cores | 1 Megacharged core |
The notes say you can fuse for the same core type or choose a random type. “Same type” preserves the effect category you are targeting; a random-type choice trades that control for variety. Neither option is described as rerolling the stats on a weapon itself.
The published ratios imply a steep resource ladder. One Overcharged core requires 10 Charged cores, and each Charged core requires 20 Semi-Charged cores, so producing one Overcharged core from Semi-Charged material takes 200 Semi-Charged cores. One Megacharged core requires five Overcharged cores, equivalent to 50 Charged cores or 1,000 Semi-Charged cores if every conversion follows the listed ratios. Those are arithmetic consequences of the published conversion values, not a promise that your client will display the same inventory totals or that a particular tier is always the best use of resources.
How to improve a weapon without wasting cores
1. Verify the live rules before opening your inventory
- Open the current weapon and Upgrade Core screens in your client.
- Read the core description, tier label and replacement warning shown for the weapon you intend to improve.
- Check whether the client identifies the core as a direct effect, a fusion ingredient or a random-type result.
- Do not rely on an older seasonal guide if its reward list or menu wording conflicts with what you see.
This check is especially important during the beta period because Supercell says Weapons and Cores are still under evaluation.

Choose the effect that addresses the reason the weapon is underperforming. If attacks feel too slow, attack speed is the directly relevant category. If an ability is unavailable when you need it, cooldown is the relevant category. If you are being defeated before you can complete a fight, maximum health, healing received or dodge may solve a more important problem than a small damage increase.

Write down the desired outcome before fusing. “I want more damage” is less useful than “I need this weapon’s ability available more often” or “I am dying while waiting for a heal.” The narrower goal helps you avoid spending a scarce core on an effect that is impressive on paper but mismatched to your playstyle.
3. Check whether the replacement tier is high enough
An equipped core can only be replaced by a higher-tier Upgrade Core, according to the release notes. A same-tier core is not documented as an eligible replacement, even if it has a more attractive effect. Before you fuse or equip anything, identify the tier currently installed and the tier of the candidate core.
If the candidate is not higher tier, keep it in your inventory rather than assuming the game will let you swap it. If it is higher tier, inspect the confirmation text for the live client and make sure you understand whether the old core is returned, consumed or otherwise unavailable; the reviewed notes establish the higher-tier requirement but do not specify a refund rule.
4. Compare controlled fusion with random-type fusion
When the fusion screen offers the same core type, that option is the predictable route: you spend the listed ingredients to pursue the effect category you selected. The random-type option can produce a different category. Use random fusion only when you genuinely have several acceptable outcomes and can tolerate receiving an effect that does not fit the weapon.
Do not treat random type as a way to “reroll” a bad weapon. It changes which core type you obtain; it does not document a new roll of the weapon’s underlying attributes.
5. Confirm the result before leaving the screen
- Read the resulting core’s type and tier.
- Check the effect against the weapon’s intended role.
- Confirm that the weapon shows the expected equipped core.
- Record how many lower-tier cores remain, especially if you were saving toward a later fusion.
If the result is not what you expected, stop before performing another fusion. A second attempt cannot restore resources already spent unless the game explicitly provides a reversal, and no such reversal is documented in the official notes reviewed here.

Where Upgrade Cores came from in the documented version
Defeated monsters
The release notes list defeated monsters as one source of Upgrade Cores. This is a gameplay drop route rather than a reroll currency. The exact drop frequency and current availability are not established by the material covered here, so do not plan a fixed number of runs around an assumed rate.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWeapon Sprints
Weapon Sprints were documented as a source of cores. A seasonal announcement also described weapons being unlocked in Weapon Sprints, with P.E.R.K.s and Upgrade Core Bundles appearing among rewards. Those details describe the historical seasonal system. The later beta announcement says seasonal content will be low-maintenance, so a sprint, bundle or weapon reward from an older season should not be assumed to be active now.
P.E.R.K.s
The release notes describe P.E.R.K.s as random-reward items earned from Weapon Sprints, with rarer rewards having lower drop rates. They were named as another route connected to Upgrade Cores. Because the beta progression loop is under evaluation, check the current reward panel rather than farming on the assumption that a particular P.E.R.K. table still exists.
Weapon Mastery and Elite Contracts
Mastery update notes said Weapon Mastery progress did not reset with seasons and that Elite Contract milestones rewarded Upgrade Cores. This can be useful for long-term planning if the route remains in your client, but it is not a guarantee that the reward thresholds or availability are unchanged in the current beta.
Core-selection framework for common weapon goals
| Your limiting problem | Effect category to investigate | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Attacks feel too slow | Attack speed | Whether the current weapon benefits consistently from faster attacks |
| Abilities are unavailable too long | Cooldown | Which ability cooldowns are affected in the live description |
| Normal hits are weak | Damage | Whether the bonus applies to the weapon’s primary output |
| Critical hits define the build | Critical damage | Whether you generate enough critical hits to use the effect |
| You cannot survive encounters | Maximum health, healing received or dodge | Which defensive failure happens most often |
| You support allies or rely on recovery | Healing | Whether the effect improves healing you provide |
This is a decision aid, not a universal tier list. The notes identify the effects but do not publish a complete damage model, weapon-by-weapon ranking or current beta balance table. Use the effect that solves your actual failure point and validate the result in the current client.

Assuming every upgrade menu is a reroll menu
A fusion screen can look like a randomization system because it may offer a random core type. The documented operation is still core creation through fusion. Treat the result as a new core, not a changed weapon stat.
Best Value
- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Fusing before checking the tier ladder
Twenty Semi-Charged cores become one Charged core, ten Charged become one Overcharged, and five Overcharged become one Megacharged. Spending ingredients without calculating the next target can leave you short of the tier required to replace your equipped core.
Choosing random type when only one effect is acceptable
Random-type fusion is inherently less controlled. If your build depends on cooldown or attack speed, a random result that supplies a defensive effect may not solve your problem. Use the same-type route when the effect category is essential and the live client confirms that route is available.
Expecting same-tier replacement
The documented rule requires a higher-tier Upgrade Core to replace an equipped one. Save a same-tier alternative for another weapon or a later decision unless your current client explicitly states a different rule.

Weapon Sprints, P.E.R.K.s, Upgrade Core Bundles and Elite Contract rewards were all described in specific update or seasonal contexts. The beta announcement makes future progression uncertain. Verify the reward panel in your version before investing time around any historical route.
What to do when a guide and your client disagree
- Pause before spending cores or opening a reward.
- Compare the current in-game description with the date and context of the guide you are reading.
- Check whether the discrepancy concerns a weapon, a core tier, a reward source or a replacement rule.
- Follow the live client for immediate spending decisions, while treating older notes as historical context.
- Keep a reserve of cores until you understand the current conversion and replacement behavior.
This approach avoids the most expensive kind of mistake: committing resources under a progression system that the developer has already said may change.
Bottom line for mo.co weapon upgrades
There is no documented random weapon-stat reroll to chase in the official material covered here. Better gear comes from selecting a useful Upgrade Core, fusing cores through the published tier ladder and replacing an equipped core only with a higher-tier core. The listed maximum boost is 20%, and the documented fusion costs are 20 Semi-Charged for one Charged, 10 Charged for one Overcharged and 5 Overcharged for one Megacharged. Earn routes included monsters, Weapon Sprints, P.E.R.K.s and, in the mastery notes, Elite Contract milestones.
Because mo.co is back in beta and Supercell says Weapons and Cores remain under evaluation, verify every current cost, reward and replacement rule in your client before spending rare resources.
