It is the canonical visual spoiler; because the gallery can open with a product or set-code selection active, check that the view includes the MH3 cards you want rather than assuming one screen shows every related card and treatment.
What’s included in the Modern Horizons 3 spoiler?
Wizards’ 2024 collecting guide lists the MH3 main set as 80 commons, 101 uncommons, 60 rares, and 20 mythic rares. Those are the main-set rarity counts—not a combined total of Commander cards, Special Guests, art cards, tokens, or every alternate treatment. The gallery distinguishes MH3 from related groups such as Commander (M3C) and Special Guests (SPG), so check its selection when browsing beyond the main set.
MH3 blends new-to-Magic designs created with Modern in mind and returning cards or reprints. Wizards highlighted allied fetch lands, Eldrazi, energy, graveyard tools, and double-faced planeswalkers among the set’s themes. The tabletop release date was June 14, 2024.
How to browse the official visual spoiler
- Open the Modern Horizons 3 Card Image Gallery.
- Check the page’s product or set-code selection. Choose the MH3 view for the main set; use the relevant related gallery or selection for Commander cards and Special Guests.
- Browse the card images and treatments. A card with an alternate frame or finish is a treatment variant, not necessarily a separate main-set design.
The gallery is a visual reference, while Wizards’ collecting guide explains which products and variants are associated with the set.

Which Modern Horizons 3 product fits your goal?
| Product | Best suited to | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Play Booster | Limited play or opening packs casually | Wizards describes Play Boosters as suitable for Limited and for opening for fun. Its collecting guide reported one Special Guests card in 64 Play Boosters; that is collation information, not a guarantee for an individual purchase. |
| Collector Booster | Collectors focused on alternate frames and premium finishes | Wizards lists seven alternate-frame cards per Collector Booster, with foil-etched cards, a textured foil card, or a serialized card among possible treatments—not guaranteed contents. The collecting guide reported roughly one Special Guests card in 15.5 Collector Boosters. |
| Commander deck | Players who want a ready-to-play Commander deck | MH3’s four 100-card decks are Eldrazi Incursion, Creative Energy, Graveyard Overdrive, and Tricky Terrain. A deck is not a way to guarantee a particular card from the main set. |
| Bundle | A mixed package of boosters, lands, and accessories | The standard Bundle includes nine Play Boosters, one traditional foil card with Bundle-exclusive art, 15 traditional foil basic lands, 15 non-foil basic lands, a spindown counter, a storage box, and reference cards. |
| Gift Edition Bundle | The standard Bundle contents plus a Collector Booster | Wizards describes it as adding one Collector Booster, with some gift-oriented presentation differences. |
| Singles | Getting a specific named card | Compare listings from a reputable marketplace instead of relying on randomized packs to produce the card you want. |
These are set-specific product and collation details published by Wizards in 2024. Products, packaging, stock, and regional availability can change; check current official product information and the package itself before making a purchase decision. No particular card or premium treatment is guaranteed by opening a randomized booster.
Are Modern Horizons 3 cards legal in Modern?
Wizards’ Modern Horizons 3 Release Notes say cards with the MH3 set code are permitted in Modern, Commander, Legacy, and Vintage. An MH3 printing does not by itself make a card legal in Standard or Pioneer. Format legality can change with later ban announcements, so check the current rules and announcements before using a card in a tournament or event.
