Nintendo Life also reproduced a Gamescom comment from Call of Duty senior vice president and general manager Johanna Faries: “I believe we landed on 87 gigabytes for launch.” The statement refers to development of the Switch 2 version, not a confirmed PS5 figure.
Is Modern Warfare 4 the biggest Call of Duty install on PS5?
That claim is not established either. The reviewed official sources provide no PS5 size for Modern Warfare 4 and no like-for-like comparison with other Call of Duty PS5 installs. A platform-specific number, even if later confirmed, would need to be compared with the same kind of measurement on other games before “biggest” could be substantiated.

File-size figures can describe different things: the initial download, the space occupied after installation, the required base game, or a build with optional content packs and updates. Platform versions and post-launch updates can also differ. A Switch 2 storefront estimate cannot be compared directly with a PS5 installed footprint.
