Chef’s Journey was a 50-milestone Monopoly GO solo event that ran from 11 a.m. ET on August 23 to 11 a.m. ET on August 25, 2024. It is a past event, not a schedule for 2026. Players scored by landing on any corner tile; the complete track was reported to offer 19,435 dice rolls and 903 Prize Drop chips, plus cash, sticker packs and timed boosts. How Chef’s Journey scoring worked
Four board spaces counted: GO, Just Visiting, Free Parking and Go to Jail. SuperCheats reported that a scoring landing awarded four event points for each unit of the dice multiplier used. For example, a multiplier of 5 would score 20 points if the roll landed on a corner; it would not award those points on other spaces. (SuperCheats)
A higher multiplier could increase points on a scoring landing, but it also spent more dice per roll and did not make a corner landing certain. The available guide does not establish a strategy that guarantees all milestones or a net gain in dice.
Historical schedule and concurrent tournament
SuperCheats listed Chef’s Journey as running from 11 a.m. ET August 23 through 11 a.m. ET August 25, 2024. The same guide said the Culinary Stars tournament began at 2 p.m. ET on August 23 and lasted 24 hours. These dates describe that 2024 run only; they do not establish a recurring annual schedule. How to approach the milestones
- Check the point gap to the next milestone before spending more dice. The requirements vary widely, and later steps include sharp jumps.
- Consider timing rolls around the concurrent tournament if both events are active, since tournament rewards may complement milestone rewards. This is a coordination option, not a guarantee of better returns.
- Choose a multiplier with the dice cost in mind. More points are possible on a corner hit, but so is faster dice consumption.
- Go to Jail may be an appealing target in some situations because rolling doubles can get a player out of jail; it is not a reliable way to earn dice or finish the event.
