The game has since launched: it arrived on Steam on April 24, 2025, and Nintendo lists a Switch edition, Monster Prom 4: Monster Con XXL, released in the UK on October 24, 2025.
What is Monster Prom 4: Monster Con?
Monster Prom 4: Monster Con is a comedic dating sim set at a monster convention. Its premise is to navigate absurd situations and find love among six monsters, carrying forward the franchise’s multiplayer dating-sim approach. The original announcement teased a cosplay-loving mimic, an idol clown and an eldritch cutie, alongside Liam as one of the romance options. The developer’s March 3, 2025 update described a six-character main roster that includes Zoe and Liam.

Beautiful Glitch’s May 3, 2024 announcement asked, “Can you find love at the nerdiest convention ever?” That was the reveal and wishlist-page launch, not the game’s release date. Read the original announcement on Steam.
When did Monster Prom 4 come out?
The PC version launched on Steam on April 24, 2025. Beautiful Glitch announced the launch that day after previously sharing a playable demo and roster update on March 3, 2025. Steam lists the release date and store details; the developer’s news page carries its demo and launch updates.

What features does the Steam version list?
Steam lists Remote Play Together, full controller support and Steam Deck Verified status. Its accessibility and convenience options include subtitle choices, save-anytime support, adjustable volume controls, narrated game menus, and keyboard-only, mouse-only or touch-only play. These are storefront-listed features, not the result of independent hands-on testing.

Who can you romance, and what DLC is available?
The main game’s roster has six romance options. Steam also lists paid digital character packs that add four fan-favorite characters as alternative playable characters:
- One pack adds Damien and Valerie.
- Another adds Aaravi and Milo.
Steam lists additional playable-character packs and a soundtrack as digital add-ons as well. Add-on availability and pricing can change, so check the current Steam listing for what is currently offered.

Was Monster Prom 4 merchandise announced?
Beautiful Glitch reported a merchandise collaboration with The Yetee, including a second wave featuring comic-cover items. The available announcement does not establish current inventory, so the collaboration alone is not confirmation that any particular item is still for sale. The developer’s news page has the merchandise updates.
