What is Khaos Reigns?
Khaos Reigns is a Mortal Kombat 1 story expansion announced by Warner Bros. Games on July 26, 2024. It continues the game’s cinematic story and includes Kombat Pack 2. The announcement described its story as centered on peace and anarchy. In that announcement—not in a verified transcript of the interview—Boon, NetherRealm Studios’ Chief Creative Officer and a Mortal Kombat co-creator, said the expansion would continue the cinematic story, add fighters, and bring back popular game features. Read Warner Bros. Games’ announcement.

The official FAQ lists six Kombat Pack 2 fighters: Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, and T-1000 Terminator. WB Games Support also lists Madam Bo as a Kameo fighter in the expansion. See the official Mortal Kombat FAQ and WB Games Support’s expansion contents list.
