The publisher table’s CPU rows are arranged unusually: Intel models appear under a row labeled “CPU / AMD Series,” while AMD models appear under “CPU / Intel Series.” The table above separates the processor alternatives without silently changing the listed models.
Why do the listed GPU requirements differ?
The publisher page, Epic Games Store and WB Games Support do not list the same graphics cards. Their minimum and recommended NVIDIA models differ, and the higher NVIDIA tier is not consistent either. The publisher page displays “NVIDIA GTX 2060” and “NVIDIA RTX 2080”; those strings are reproduced as shown rather than interpreted as corrected model names.

Because these sources disagree, do not combine the lowest model from each listing into a new “official” minimum or assume differently named cards are interchangeable. Check the current system requirements shown on the storefront you will use and compare your complete PC against that listing before buying or upgrading.
What the requirements mean for your PC
RAM: 8 GB is listed, but it is only one check
The publisher lists 8 GB RAM for Minimum and Recommended, and 16 GB for Ultra. Epic also lists 8 GB for both of its tiers. Having 8 GB does not by itself establish that a PC meets the requirements: the processor, graphics card, operating system, storage and target settings matter too.

Storage: allow 140 GB
The publisher, Epic and WB Games Support each list 140 GB. The publisher specifies SSD for Minimum and Recommended and NVMe SSD for Ultra. Epic says an SSD is preferred for full online cross-play capabilities and that an HDD is supported. The sources do not establish how much extra space updates may require, so keep additional free space where practical.
Resolution and frame-rate targets
The publisher pairs Minimum with 1080p Low, Recommended with 1440p High, and Ultra with 3840×2160 Ultra High. Its table gives all three tiers a 60 FPS gameplay target, while its listed target for menus, Invasions and cinematics is 30 FPS at Minimum and 60 FPS in the other tiers. These are the publisher’s targets, not measured results that guarantee the same frame rate in every scene or on every system.

Can Mortal Kombat 1 run on 8 GB RAM?
Eight GB is the listed RAM amount for the publisher’s Minimum and Recommended tiers and for both Epic tiers. That answers the memory portion of the question, but it does not confirm compatibility on its own. Compare the PC’s CPU, GPU, Windows version and available storage against the chosen storefront’s full requirements.
